Taylor Momsen is a famous American singer, songwriter, musician, model and former actress. She is best known for her work on Gossip Girl. She also played 'Cindy Lou Who' in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. However, she soon shifted her career from acting to music as the lead singer of The Pretty Reckless. She rose to fame with her albums, Death by Rock and Roll. It topped multiple Billboard charts. Recently, Taylor Momsen went all nude for her recent music album, For I Am Death.

Taylor Momsen opened up about going all nude for her music album

Taylor Momsen is the frontwoman of her rock band, The Pretty Reckless. Recently, she appeared at the MTV Video Music Awards and talked about her upcoming song, For I Am Death. Taylor flaunted her nude self in the music video, and for the awards, she wore a co-ord set, which is an ode to her look in the song. In an interview with US Weekly, Taylor revealed the reason for getting naked. In the music video, Taylor wrote a line which says, 'Turned into the angel of death ... clothes don't fit into that.'

Taylor shared that it was from an artistic perspective. She added that it is extremely pure and honest when something is not tainted by clothing. She added that fashion is constantly changing. Hence, she decided not to date her music with a style, which might put it into a time capsule. She wanted to make an art that could be timeless. She was quoted as saying:

"Any time I'm nude for art, it's from an artistic perspective. There's something very pure and honest about not tainting something with clothing. Fashion is so important to me, but it's an ever-evolving thing, it's constantly changing. I never like to date the music with a style that's going to put it in a time capsule. Everything I make in art I want to be timeless."

Taylor further talked about her toned body, which she flaunted in the music video. She showed off enviable abs and revealed that she is a workout-aholic. Hence, she loves boxing and weight training to keep herself fit and sane. The 32-year-old was quoted as saying:

"I’m kind of a workout-aholic, I guess, you could say. I love it. I box, I weight train. I do all the things. That’s how I prep. And it keeps me sane in the brain."

Talking about Taylor Momsen's look for the MTV Video Music Awards, she turned heads at the entrance of the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. She chose to adorn an all-gothic look. Taylor wore a tiny, slightly sheer, plunging black bralette. It showcased her torso, and she paired it with a floor-length, black-hued leather skirt featuring a slit in the front. She accessorised the look with a crossed belt and chunky boots.

Taylor Momsen once talked about being made fun of for her role in How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Taylor Momsen faced bullying when she was just seven years old and played the role of 'Cindy Lou Who' in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. She once revealed in a Podcrushed podcast by Penn Badgley that she was heavily made fun of by her classmate for appearing in the 2000 classic film. She recalled her struggles and said:

"First of all, The Grinch changed my life in a multitude of ways — one of them being I was made fun of relentlessly. Every time I would start a new school or go somewhere else, I don't even think the kids knew my name. I was just Grinch Girl."

Momsent revealed that she kept changing schools, and the teasing didn't stop. However, until middle school, when she stopped moving and made her own friend group. That's when she made her first band in middle school and it was called 'Garage Band'. She would jam after school and started singing, playing guitar and writing songs. 

Well, Taylor Momsen has come a long way from facing bullying for one of her childhood roles to being a rockstar comfortably flaunting her toned body for art.
