Taylor Swift Says Travis 'Stood Outside' Her Home To Say He Wanted To Date Her 'Wrote Songs About..'

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's whirlwind romance took fans by surprise in 2023. For months, many Swifties were left wondering how the pop superstar and the NFL player crossed paths. Earlier, Travis mentioned that it all began with a friendship bracelet that he wanted to give to Taylor, a beaded friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. However, on being unable to meet her, the plan fell flat, leaving everyone wondering if they had met. Finally, the mystery was unveiled by Taylor herself.

Taylor Swift reveals Travis Kelce made a declaration about his desire to date her 

Taylor Swift recently made her podcast debut on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason's podcast, New Heights. During the conversation, she shared her side of the story on meeting the NFL star and teased that the podcast got her a boyfriend after Travis used it like a personal dating app. Taylor admitted she never saw the original bracelet, but the gesture didn't go unnoticed. Recalling how he didn't even contact her team, she said:

"This dude didn't get a meet and greet, and he's making it everyone's problem. He didn't reach out to management."

Taylor further revealed that Travis had earlier played at the stadium where he came to meet her, and simply thought that since he knew the elevator lady, he could get in. But, later he stood outside her apartment holding a boom box saying, "I want to go on a date with you." The singer acknowledged that it was a kind of moment that she only dreamed about for years. Since she is not an online person, she has turned off comments on social media and is terrified of opening her DMs. However, the over-the-top romantic gesture was admitted was enough to get her attention, she said:

"But this is exactly the kind of thing I've been writing songs about, wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager." 

Taylor Swift admits she was clueless about football before meeting Travis 

While Taylor Swift came back to the New Heights to thank the show for bringing them together. She revealed that she knew nothing about football before meeting him. The lack of knowledge was to an extent that she didn't knew the difference before offense and defense. But, Travis was patient about it during their initial dating phase. However, spending time with him and watching him play has changed things for her. Taylor revealed that she is now in love with the sport. Sharing her feelings she said:

"I fell in love with it [football]. I became obsessed with it."

During the conversation, Taylor Swift revealed that she gets a new kind of baking obsession every six months and presently she is obsessed with making a sourdough. She mentioned that she is trying to make another type of sourdough for Jason's four daughters with sprinklers. At the same time, the singer admitted that often contacts her friends to ask if she could send them over. Plus, she sent some bread to Travis's training camp at Kansas City Chiefs for 2025. Recalling his reaction, Travis said:

"I am the luckiest man in the world. I'm lucky I'm working as much as I am and running as much as I am because I am getting the caloric intake. I am carbing up."
