Tej Pratap Yadav is the elder son of Lalu Prasad, who is the Rashtriya Janta Dal chief. A cute and heartfelt post of Tej on Facebook has now gone viral, where he, in a turn of surprising events, introduced his girlfriend of 12 years to the world. Tej is hogging all the limelight because of the alleged social media post he made revealing about being in a relationship. He also shared a picture of his lady love on his social media handle and also revealed her name.

Tej had kept his relationship hidden for a long time, and on May 24, 2025, he took to his social media handle to reveal that the name of his girlfriend is Anushka Yadav. He confessed to having known her for 12 years and shared a sweet picture where both were seen twinning in black. Tej had written on Facebook:

"Mei Tej Pratap Yadav aur mere saath aur mere saath yeh tasveer mei joh dikh rahi hai unka naam hai Anushka Yadav. Hum dono pichle barah saalo mei ek dusre ko jante hai aur pyaar bhi karte hai. Humlog pichle 12 saalo se ek relationship mei rahe hai. Mei bahut dino se aaplogo se yeh baat kehna chahta tha par samaj nai aara tha ki kaise kahu?"

Tej, further in his post, revealed that he confessed what he felt for Anushka via a post and shared what he honestly felt. Tej also expressed that he wanted his followers to understand what he felt.

Tej's post on Facebook has already garnered a lot of attention on social media. While many of his fans praised his courage, there were netizens who were pretty curious to know if his relationship with Anushka would culminate in marriage. As per the handle of Tej, at the moment he is vacationing in the Maldives and had shared a clip where he was seen engrossed in meditation wearing a floral shirt and black shorts. The clip has also gone viral on social media, and he spoke in the caption about peace. Tej was seen doing deep meditation and living a yogic life. He captioned the clip as:

"Peace is an essential part of life. We constantly seek it, for without peace, our lives can descend into chaos. Through meditation and self-reflection, we gain a deeper understanding of our thoughts and emotions, leading to a greater sense of fulfillment and happiness. As seen in the video, the spiritual mantra, Om Namah Shivaya, is softly played, and the politician is seen being in a state of tranquillity. He was seen sitting outside a resort and was facing the sea, reflecting on his thoughts. For the unversed, Tej was earlier married to Aishwarya Roy, who is the granddaughter of Daroga Roy, former Chief Minister of Bihar. Their marriage was short-lived lived and Tej had confessed to being married to her against his wish and claimed to have been forced by his parents.
