'Mirai' Fame, Teja Sajja Reveals Wardrobe Malfunction Incident At 'Hanu-Man' Event, 'Bohot Stress..'

In the latest episode of Netflix's The Great Indian Kapil Show, the cast of Mirai, including Teja Sajja, Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, and Jagapathi Babu graced the show. While the episode was filled with fun banter and lighthearted moments, Telugu actor, Teja stole the light when he recalled an incident from the pre-release launch of the film, Hanu-Man.

Teja Sajja recalls embarrassing wardrobe malfunction

During a fun conversation on The Great Indian Kapil Show, the host, Kapil Sharma spoke about the challenges of handling the outfit during a period film and asked Teja if he has ever faced anything like that. Kapil Sharma was quoted as saying:

"Jab hum period movies karte hai Teja, bohot saari aisi cheezein hoti hain jo hum normal life mein nahi karte. Like, you, wearing costumes, hathiyaar pakde huye apne. Badi baar aisa darr bhi hota hai ki yaar aap ghodi pe ja rahe ho, ghodi se utarte waqt pair phas gaya, ya dhoti khulne ka darr hota hai."

To answer Kapil’s question, Teja revealed an incident from the pre-release event of his film Hanu-Man. He shared that he was given a kurta to wear at the last time and he did not check it before going on stage. Later, Teja realised that the kurta was transparent and his pants were low, which made the entire outfit look revealing. In his words:

"Mera Hanu-Man ka pre-release event tha aur mujhe ek kurta diya. Maine bohot stress mein dekha bhi nahi kya pehen raha hoon aur pehen ke chala gaya. Woh kurta transparent nikla. Thik hai woh transparent tha, lekin meri pants thodi niche thi. Toh poora speech jab main de raha tha, baahar aane ke baad pictures mein dekha ki thoda andar se upar aake transparent tha. Woh hua hai mere saath."

Teja Sajja’s film, Mirai

The film, Mirai is a Telugu film, directed by Karthik Gattamneni. The film follows 'Vedha' (played by Teja Sajja), a young man, who discovers that he is the chosen protector of one of nine sacred scriptures that Emperor Ashoka hid after the brutal Kalinga war. The film shows an interesting face-off between 'Vedha' and 'Mahabir Lama' (played by Manchu Manoj). Apart from these two, the film also stars Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu and more. The film was released on September 12, 2025, and according to a report by Sacnilk, Mirai has earned Rs. 47 crore worldwide in two days.
