In an interview with Pinkvilla, Tejasswi Prakash spoke about her perspective on body positivity. She said that there are multiple ways available with the help of which one can have a perfectly toned body and a sharp jawline. However, it will not make a person look unique from the other. Talking about the trolls she had faced being underweight, Tejasswi said:
“I’ll tell you what - there are a lot of ways if you are underweight or if you have a chubby face, there are a lot of ways I can correct it. There are a lot of things I can get done, and probably have a thinner face, have a perfect curvy body. But what will be the difference? There has to be a certain kind of uniqueness that I add to the screen when I come on the screen. Body positivity is something that I very strongly encourage. The day you love yourself for the way you are, people will helplessly fall for you.”
Further in the conversation, Tejasswi was asked if she wants to get settled down with her darling boyfriend, Karan Kundrra. To which, she spilled the beans and shared that her priority is her career for the time being. However, as she is a firm believer in the evil eye, Tejasswi said she would not like to risk her special relationship with Karan and would wait for the right time. In her words:
“I am someone who believes logon ki nazar bahot jaldi lag jati hai. For me the relationship is so precious that I cannot take that risk. So, I will not encourage the marriage topic. We both are focusing on our work and it will happen when it is supposed to happen. I feel blessed."

In the same conversation, Tejasswi recalled the hardest time of her life when her family was facing financial issues. Tejasswi shared that she had grown up way before her age as she had always been a strong pillar of strength to her mother and brother, Pratik Wayangankar. She further talked about how her mother used to lock them inside their house before heading towards the workplace as their home was on a roadside and did not have proper security. She stated:
“She had survived all these years without my dad being around and has really taken care of me and my younger brother. I think I grew up way before my age so not having my dad around and my mum was a very soft emotional person, pra (Tejasswi’s brother) was very soft and I used to always have to be that strong person in the house. She used to go and work because we did have financial issues and so she used to wait for us to be back from school and just lock us inside the house so we don't really go out and get lost, just be safe in the house.”
On the work front, Tejasswi Prakash is currently seen in Ekta Kapoor’s franchise, Naagin 6.
