Tejasswi Prakash On Marrying Karan Kundrra, Says, 'Iska Bas Chale Toh Ye Kar Hi Lega'

Tejasswi Prakash was raised in a Marathi speaking family. She had first appeared in Life OK's show, 2012, back in 2012. Since then, she has made a name for herself in showbiz by being a part of several popular T.V. series. Though the Naagin 6 actress had won the trophy of Salman Khan hosted show, Bigg Boss 15, the gorgeousness had lost her heart to Karan Kundrra during her stint in the Bigg Boss 15 house. Tejasswi and Karan have become one of the most popular and loved couples in the television fraternity. Today, on April 2, 2022, she is celebrating her first Gudi Padwa with her beau, Karan. She has also opened up about their marriage plans.

Karan and Tejasswi can't live without each other, which is quite evident. After coming out of the Bigg Boss house almost after 4 months, Karan Kundrra had taken to his IG stories and had shared a cutesy video, where we could see him standing outside Tejasswi's house as she was standing on her balcony. The two were seen having a mushy conversation, and their happiness was visible on their face. As we had witnessed the lovebirds' 'Romeo-Juliet' moment, it had reminded us of old school romance.

In a conversation with the Hindustan Times, Tejasswi Prakash revealed her happiness in celebrating the Maharashtrian New Year with her family and better half, Karan Kundrra. However, when asked about marriage plans, Tejasswi cleared the air by accepting that Karan has not proposed to her for marriage yet. Elaborating on the same, she said:

"We are focusing on our work. We have not had the chance to talk (about the wedding). And these things cannot be discussed on the phone. We need to find the time and then we can figure something out if we have to figure it out. This guy (Kundraa) has told (everyone) that March we are doing (the wedding). (Since then) March has become a big thing. People are saying March khatam hogaya, when are you two getting married. And he meant it, he wanted to marry in March. But we didn't know it would be this crazy. Iska bas chale toh ye toh kar hi lega. But he hasn't popped the question. So, I keep taunting him."

As we all know, it is #TejRan's first Gudi Padwa, and in an interview with ETimes, she was asked if Karan would be a part of the rituals and celebrations. To this, Tejasswi shared some details about a fascinating Maharashtrian tradition and said that she was also waiting for him to gift her something at this auspicious festival. The Swaragini actress further called Karan a part of her life and added that she had found the 'right guy' for herself. In her words:

"When a girl gets engaged or finds a special someone in her life, it is considered auspicious for the boy to gift her something special on Gudi Padwa. I am not sure if Karan is aware of this tradition, but I will wait for him to find out and gift me something tomorrow. Karan is a part of my life now, and so this Gudi Padwa will be different and special as I have found the right guy, someone who I was looking for."

Further in the interview, Tejasswi gave an insight into how she had celebrated Gudi Padwa with her family all these years. While recalling some of her fond memories of her mother, the gorgeousness said:

"Gudi Padwa is not a big festival like Diwali, but nevertheless, it is a small and sweet festival and we enjoy a simple celebration at home. As a child, I have seen my mother prepare the Gudi with bamboo sticks and flowers and she does the puja. I help her make the Gudi and tie it outside my home. I enjoy watching my mom cook and we have a nice Maharashtrian meal with all delicacies like puran poli and shrikhand. This year, I am shooting for Naagin, but I hope to get back home early and celebrate the festival. I am not going to wear a sari but I look forward to wearing a nice Indian outfit and spending quality time with my family."
