But as you can see, sometimes success overpowers emotions, knowingly or unknowingly, which can take a toll on someone’s personal life and relationships. Something very similar happened to the following television stars, who made it all the way from television to Bollywood, but failed to make it up in their relationship and thus, ended up getting separated or divorced. Who are they? Check out the list:
Often considered as one of the most promising and raw talent to be ever pulled into Indian cinema from the telly world, Sushant Singh Rajput’s fan following dates back to the time since he appeared in Zee Tv’s hit, Pavitra Rishta. It is on the sets of the show, that he met his ex-girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande. Things were going fine until Sushant got his big Bollywood break, Kai Po Che! and things went downhill between them. The ex-couple has time and again shared with the media that they both have a lot of respect for each other and have moved on in their respective lives. The couple was in a live-in relationship for over 6 years before they called it quits. The major reason quoted by sources is that Sushant’s constant move for work left them with little or no time for each other. Thus, they decided to end their relationship. A source close to the couple had shared:
“They have simply grown apart. It happens. When they started they both wanted similar things. They both had dreams. But somewhere along the way, Ankita was just content doing nothing while his career took off. I think that is where the disconnect began.”
This girl is surely on a roll! From making a mark in the television industry, to marking her debut (soon) in the big screen, Mouni Roy is surely riding high in life these days. From having Gold opposite Akshay Kumar, RAW with John Abraham, Made In China opposite Rajkummar Rao and playing the lead villain in Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer, Brahmastra, Mouni Roy is the next ‘big thing in the making’ in Bollywood! Pssst, let’s talk a little about her personal life in here. Did you guys know that Mouni was dating her handsome co-star from Devo Ke Dev Mahadev, Mohit Raina? Although both Mouni and Mohit were always tight-lipped about their relationship, but ever since Mouni has stepped into Bollywood, things are apparently not doing very well between the alleged couple. So much so, that Mouni shared in an interview with HT that he and Mohit are not even friends! Yes, you read that right. She stated:
“I am single and have been so for a long time. Mohit and I are not even friends.”

She also commented on his look from 21 Sarfarosh: Saragarhi 1897 where Mohit is playing a sardar ji. She said:
“Look at him. He looks like a bear. Already he is so huge and on top of that all that hair. Imagine if he was wearing all black.”
In a recent interview with The Indian Express, Mohit also spoke about how he would explain his relationship with Mouni:
“We genuinely have a very strong friendship and utmost respect for each other. We are similar people with similar stories. Mouni and I, both are from non-filmy families and come from really small towns. She has her father’s blessing on her, who is no more and so is the case with me. We also have been working hard and achieving on our own. There are a lot of factors that have brought us in a different place where we have immense mutual respect towards each other. As for me, I really have a lot of pride for what she is doing in her career and winning laurels for herself. Also, who wouldn’t want his name linked to a film actress, it always works in favour.”
Eijaz Khan is a well-known name in both the television and Bollywood fraternity and the actor has been a major part of hit films and daily soaps. Similar to any movie storyline, Eijaz Khan’s love life is layered and full of experiences. Eijaz was in a relationship with 3 women- Anita Hassanandani, Italian-Canadian singer, Natalie Di Luccio and an aspiring actress, Nidhi Kashyap. The actor could not juggle well between his work and love and thus, ended many of his love stories. In one of the episodes of Rajeev Khandelwal’s JuzzBaat, Eijaz confessed that he cheated on one of his girlfriends. Tears rolled down his cheeks when he shared (take a look at the video below):
“The one and only time jab maine kisi pe cheat kiya. Galti hui jo mere puri zindagi ka nichod nikal diya (The one and only time when I cheated on someone. It was a mistake which churned up my whole life)”.

He also blamed himself by saying he had a penchant to rush into things, but he won't repeat such mistakes in future. Jennifer, too spoke about dealing with a broken marriage. She shared:
“It's sad when any relationship, not just marriage, doesn't have a fruitful ending. I had lived with him for so long, so it obviously took me a while to deal with the situation. I experienced a gamut of emotions, but I was so strong that I came out of it without any trouble. Also, I had a lovely support system in my family and friends. Today, all of us are in a happy space.”
You last saw him as a dashing cop in the Madhavan starrer Breathe and got mesmerised by his performance. Yes, people, Amit Sadh it is! The Guddu Rangeela star had been dating Prince fame, Neeru Bajwa for a while but things turned sour between the couple after both of them made their Bollywood debut in 2010. While Amit debuted with Phoonk 2, Neeru made her mark in the industry with Vivek Oberoi starrer, Prince. Amit and Neeru first appeared in TV show, Guns and Roses and later went onto participate in Nach Baliye. The ex-couple was living-in together but decided to walk out of the relationship in 2010. Amit had once revealed that Neeru had transformed him from a boy to a man. His life fell apart when they separated. At an interview with The Quint, Amit shared:
“I do not shy away from accepting that I had a troubled past, but in the journey of coming out of that dark phase, I understand humans better. I am less judgmental and more compassionate. I learnt empathy and forgiveness, and that gives me confidence as a person.”
