Popular actress, Chitra Shukla made her acting debut with the 2014 Hindi film, Chal Bhaag. Following this, she began her journey in Tollywood with films such as Puli, Nenu Shailaja, Ma Abbayi, and many others. However, she rose to fame with the 2018 film, Rangula Ratnam alongside Raj Tarun. On the work front, she has no current film commitments on the horizon, and fans are impatiently waiting to know whether Chitra will continue her acting career after marriage or embark on new endeavours. For the unversed, recently, the actress exchanged vows with a police officer from Madhya Pradesh, and glimpses of the same are blissful.
Recently, Chitra Shuklta got married to the love of her life, IFS Vaibhav Upadhyay, at the Triyuginarayan Temple in Uttarakhand. Both of them hail from Indore, and have been dating each other for a considerable period of time. Proof of the same is found on the duo's social media handles. After tying the knot, Chitra and Vaibhav collaboratively took to their respective IG handles, and shared a series of glimpses from the same. For their temple wedding, Chitra opted for a heavily embellished red-hued lehenga choli paired with double dupattas.

Chitra completed her look with kundan jewellery, including a broad neckpiece, matching earrings, a maang teeka, a matha patti, a nath and chooda. Glam makeup, including blushed and highlighted cheeks, glossy red lipstick, winged eyes, and a bun hairdo, finished off her look. On the other hand, Vaibhav complemented his bride in a white-hued bandhgala suit with a matching-hued safa and turban. Altogether, they looked picture-perfect. Sharing the pictures from their surreal wedding, they collaboratively wrote:
"The moment we sat for our PHERE and the Divine PUJA started at the Triyuginarayan Temple, The Suryanarayan bhagwan rose and sunrays came from nowhere to directly upon just the 2 of us as if Lord Surya is blessing us getting married in the Divine abode of Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati Vivaah Mandapam. The sunrays looked like sharp focus light on the 2 of us and everyone in our family and around wondered how & why it’s happening. The sunrays were so sharp they can be clearly seen in the pictures too."
Ahead of their wedding, Chitra and Vaibhav hosted traditional mehendi, haldi and sangeet ceremonies with their families. For the mehendi ceremony, while the then-bride-to-be opted for a henna-hued lehenga choli with a red dupatta, Vaibhav looked handsome in a green kurta with a multi-coloured jacket. For their sangeet ceremony, the actress stunned in a golden-hued lehenga, while Vaibhav opted for a blue suit with a white shirt underneath. On their haldi ceremony, they twinned in white ensembles and looked immensely happy while celebrating their union.

It was on December 11, 2023, when Chitra and Vaibhav got engaged to each other amid their close friends and family. However, only a few days back, they teased their millions of fans with stunning glimpses from the same. They were seen decked up in traditional ensembles as they exchanged the varmalas and rings. Afterwards, they were also seen showing off their rings and happily posing for the lens.
