Tere Ishk Mein, a fiery romantic love story starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, is all set to hit the theatres on November 28, 2025. The film is a spiritual sequel to the classic movie, Raanjhanaa, starring Sonam Kapoor and Dhanush in lead roles. The film, Tere Ishk Mein, will release in both Hindi and Tamil languages. Film director, Aanand L Rai has brought Dhanush and Kriti Sanon on board for his upcoming film, Tere Ishk Mein. This is the third collaboration between Aanand and Dhanush. For the uninitiated, Dhanush has worked in Aanand’s iconic films, Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re. Recently, Aanand sat for an interview with The Hindu and opened up about his special bond with Dhanush. He was quoted as saying:

"When we first worked together, Dhanush was no more than an actor. Over the years, I can say, now I have a son. We are selfish people who are together for some reason. If you discover a relationship that goes beyond just working in films, it is magical. My profession has given me something very personal."

According to a report by Filmibeat, Dhanush reportedly charged Rs. 15 crore for his role in the film, Tere Ishk Mein, while Kriti Sanon allegedly took home Rs. 5 crore. If the report is believed to be true, then Dhanush was paid three times more than Kriti. This also means that Dhanush is the alleged highest-paid cast member of Tere Ishk Mein.

Tere Ishk Mein is an intense love story featuring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon. The film explores a fiery love story of 'Shankar' and 'Mukti', which began during their college days. Filmmaker, Aanand said in a statement that Tere Ishk Mein, the romantic tale, is all about surrender, letting it heal, hurt and change a person. Producer, Bhushan Kumar said that the film is a raw, intense and emotionally charged movie. He was quoted as saying:

"Tere Ishk Mein will bring forth a love story that’s raw, intense, and emotionally charged. Dhanush and Kriti’s pairing brings a unique energy to the screen, and Rahman’s music elevates every moment. It’s a world that stays with you."
