'Thamma' Cast Salary REVEALED, Who Takes Home The Highest Paycheck, Ayushmann Or Rashmika?

Thamma, the fifth instalment of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU), is already making headlines. Starring Ayushmann Khurana and Rashmika Mandanna, the upcoming horror-comedy is the fifth film, after Stree, Bhediya, Munjya, and Stree 2. Recently, the song, Poison Baby, featuring Malaika Arora and Rashmika Mandanna, has left the audience in awe. The film is set to release on October 21, 2025. Now that the movie's release is knocking at the door, let’s have a look at the salaries of the cast.

Who gets the highest paycheck for Thamma, Ayushmann Khurana or Rashmika Mandanna?

Ayushmann Khurrana plays the role of 'Alok Goyal', an ordinary man who gets transformed into a 'Betaal', a vampiric spirit from Indian folklore. From the trailer of the movie, it is clear that 'Yakshasan' (played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui) is the one who transforms 'Alok' from a man into a vampire. On the other hand, the Tollywood queen, Rashmika Mandanna, plays the female lead 'Tadaka', a vampire.

She is the love interest of 'Alok'. According to a DNA India report, Ayushmann, the main protagonist, allegedly earned between Rs. 8 crore and Rs. 10 crore, while Tollywood queen, Rashmika Mandanna, allegedly took home Rs. 5 to 7 crore. So, if the report is believed to be true, then Ayushmann bagged the highest paycheck for Thamma.

How much did the antagonist, Nawazzudin Siddiqui, earn for Thamma?

Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays 'Yakshasan', the main antagonist of Thamma. 'Yakshasan' was once a noble guardian of humans and Earth, protecting them from evil. But he has now changed sides and has become a powerful and malevolent vampire. His sole mission is to make a villainous group of vampires known as 'Betaals'. According to a report by DNA India, Nawazzudin Siddiqui allegedly earned a paycheck of Rs. 3-4 crore.

Alongside Ayushmann Khurana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazzudin Siddiqui, the horror-comedy also stars Paresh Rawal. The veteran actor plays the role of 'Ram Bajaj Goyal', father of 'Alok'. Malaika Arora did a cameo in the film. She appeared in a dance number, Poison Baby. As per a report by DNA India, Paresh and Malaika allegedly earned Rs. 2 crore for their roles.

Thamma, the fifth film in the MHCU, is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, following the hits like Stree, Stree 2, Bhediya, and Munjya. Alongside, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal, the upcoming horror-comedy also features, Baahubali fame, Sathyaraj, and Panchayat star, Faisal Malik. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, the film is scheduled to release on October 21, 2025, during Diwali.

The supernatural film promises a paranormal romance. Speaking to Variety, producer Dinesh Vijan described the movie as the franchise’s 'most human' film yet. He mentioned that Thamma is a film that can be enjoyed with the family and offers something new. He was quoted as saying:

"This is one you can watch with your entire family — it’s extremely funny. Every film has to feel different. Thamma adds another dimension without repeating what we’ve done before. The long and short of it is, we can’t be repetitive."
