The film delves into the darker aspects of the entertainment world, revealing harsh realities of nepotism, the struggles of outsiders, and other factors. Despite being his debut as a director, Aryan was brilliant in his storytelling.

The series, which comprises seven episodes, begins with Aasman Singh, played by Lakshya Lalwani, achieving a blockbuster success in the industry with his film, Revolver. Despite being an outsider, Aasman tries to make his foothold in the industry and immediately starts getting offers from leading filmmakers. However, the actor has already signed a three-year contract with his debut producer, Freddy.

He seeks permission to do Karan’s film, to which Freddy agrees, but with a condition. The producer asks Aasman to return and make another film with them, so that both films can compete at the box office. When Aasman refuses to do so, Freddy gets frustrated and tries to sabotage his career. And at this point, Aasman’s friend, Parvaiz, sends goons to teach Freddy a lesson.

Aasman Singh falls in love with Ajay Talvar’s daughter, Karishma Talvar

The film also features Bobby Deol as Ajay Talvar, a renowned Bollywood actor. Ajay’s daughter, too, was making her acting debut, but he was unwilling to let Karishma’s first film be opposite a non-Nepo newcomer. However, a twist in the tale occurs when Aasman and Karishma fall in love with each other.

Aasman and Karishma, madly in love, decide to elope and get married with the help of Parvez. But Ajay would not let this happen and chase the two. What follows is an intense chase between Ajay and Aasman. In the plot twist, Aasman’s mother, Neeta, also sends Ajay her son’s location, helping him trace the couple.

Aasman and Ajay Talvar get into an intense fight with each other, and that’s when Aasman’s mother arrives at the scene. Then comes the twist in the plot, along with answers to many questions. Why was Neeta helping Ajay to trace Aasman and Karisma? During the climax, when Aasman was about to hit Ajay, Neeta tells Aasman that Ajay is his father.

It turns out that Ajay and Neeta had an affair while she was trying her luck in the industry 26 years ago. When Neeta got pregnant, she left the industry. However, when Aasman decided to marry Karisma, his half-sister, Neeta had no choice but to reveal the truth. After the disturbing truth, Aasman and Karishma decide to remain friends.

As Aasman learns the truth about his father, he decides to leave the industry. But his best friend, Parvaiz, made him realise his dream, and he decided to continue to work. While no one else is willing to work with him, Aasman decides to work with Gafoor. At the end of the series, producer, Freddy asks Neeta and Ajay to bring Karishma and Aasman together for a family drama named The Bas***ds of Bollywood.
