A wedding is all about the bride and the groom. With time, the brides have made a clear point that weddings are not all about red saris or lehengas. They can choose any colour from the palette and make it look million-dollar-perfect. But, with the evolving fashion industry, keeping up with your own style statement can be tough. Choosing the best outfits for each of the ceremonies is a big task.
From Kareena Kapoor's orange wedding gharara to Anushka Sharma's floral pink lehenga choli to Gauahar Khan's ivory white gharara to Rhea Kapoor's whitish-beige wedding couture, the brides are getting many options to look forward to for choosing their own outfits. Nowadays, brides want to make their fashion style statement to be unique one from the other. Just like that, we came across our real bride, Sonam Kapadia, who had opted for a blue lehenga designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee for the wedding, and a white one for her reception look from Falguni and Shane Peacock. Sonam's wedding look book is jaw-dropping. Don't miss out on the bride's champagne bottle opening at her own wedding!

Our bride, Sonam Kapadia, had looked like an Indian princess wearing the regal royal blue lehenga choli. She had draped a blue choli densely embroidered with pink, champagne, and golden zari in floral patterns and paired it with a blue velvet finished lehenga skirt with broadly embroidered patchwork with resham and zari in the lower half. She completed her look with a gold and white polki Rajasthani jewellery set including, neckpiece, big danglers, matha patti, and bangles. But what we liked the most was her makeup, nude-toned eyes with winged liner, bright red pop for her lips, and the highlighted cheekbones.
While the groom, Milan Rao, looked dashing in a baby pink sherwani suit with subtle embroidery work. He had paired his look with a pagdi and four-tier pearl neckpiece. He complemented it with a blue embroidered doshala.

Before the D-day could arrive, the bride and the groom had commenced their wedding ceremonies with full joy and happiness. And the first event was Ganesh Puja and Pithi. The bride had looked mesmerising like a sunflower in the yellow couture for Ganesh puja and pithi. She had worn a yellow lehenga with a see-through cape and completed the look with a floral mang teeka and a statement neckpiece-earring set. This ceremony was celebrated in the presence of close friends and family. The place was gorgeously decorated with yellow roses to complement the bride's look.
Day 2 was all about getting done with the beautiful mehendi patterns. The bride had looked like a butterfly, wearing a multi-coloured lehenga choli. She completed the look with a floral jewellery set. For the mehendi ceremony, the wedding planners Spring and Ivy decorated the whole place with a boho-chic vibe with flowers and bamboo-carved decor.

Day 3 was dedicated to Sangeet, which happens to be the bride's favourite day. Sonam had donned a red puffed-sleeved blouson top and a red & white floral embroidered skirt for the Sangeet. She had pulled up her hair in a messy ponytail and completed her look with hooded eyeliner, thick lashes, bushy brows, highlighted cheeks, red pout, and a statement bindi. To finish the look, she had worn a red beaded jewellery set.
While her husband-to-be had draped a bottle-green bandhgala pantsuit and completed the look with a sleek half-black belt. For shoes, the groom had opted for black shoes.
Sonam had opted for an ivory-shaded lehenga designed by Falguni and Shane Peacock for her reception night. The lehenga and the statement blouse had applique work all over with a crochet finish. She had kept her hair in beachy curls and completed her look with a matte finish- smokey eyes, contoured cheeks, brown matte lips, and a white statement bindi. Her outfit was enough to accessorise but to complement that, Sonam had opted for a statement neckpiece and earring.

The groom, Milan, as always had looked handsome. For the reception look, he had gone with the black tuxedo suit. However, he had paired it with a crisp white shirt and a shiny black bow. The couple had looked like they are straight out of the fairy tales. Their reception theme was the jungle, and sure, they had lit up the place with their sass and chemistry.
When a couple is madly in love it gets portrayed in the pictures as well, and this couple's wedding photos are the actual proof. Look at them and you will feel the love. We wish the couple a lifetime of happiness!
