From Sara Ali Khan To Anupam Kher, The Cast Of 'Metro... In Dino' Share Their Academic Score

The film, Metro... In Dino, which is said to be a spiritual sequel to the film, Life in a.. Metro, is all set to release in theatres on July 4, 2025. The film already is generating a lot of buzz because of its amazing cast and the songs of the film. Amidst all this, recently a few of the cast members shared their academic scores which is going viral.

Recently, the cast of the upcoming film, Metro… In Dino was seen indulging in a candid conversation on the show, The Great Indian Kapil Show. While talking about their school and college life, the cast went to share their academic scores. 

Sara Ali Khan shared that she has always been serious about her studies. She studied at Dhirubhai Ambani International School and later did her graduation from Columbia University in New York, where she studied History and Political Science. Her strong educational background is often visible in her interviews as well. The fans seemed very impressed by the way she balances intelligence and her acting career. She shared:

"I was studying. I've studied history, political science...I've studied a lot."

On the other hand, Dangal actress, Fatima Sana Shaikh shared a very honest story. She said that she had failed her 12th standard and dropped out of school. She added that she had scored only 55%. Initially she felt like a failure but later realised it wasn't that important and now she is doing great in the film industry. In her words:

“I dropped out after failing 12th standard. I used to fail a lot. I got 55 percent in 12th.”

Legendary actor and director of the film, Tanvi The Great, Anupam Kher also spoke about his academic performance and jokingly said that he just scored 38% in his 12th standard. Hearing his marks, Kapil Sharma couldn't stop himself and said that he scored 44%. Even with such low marks, Anupam Kher followed his passion and went on to become one of the most respected actors of his time. He also added: 

"Despite this, here we are sitting on this stage"

The episode also had a few fun moments between Sara Ali Khan and Kapil Sharma. Kapil Sharma jokingly teased her regarding her love for mountains and said, “She loves mountains so much that as soon as the shooting ends, she goes to climb one. She only came down for my show.” He also asked her if she goes to the mountains to look for a husband, to which Sara replied, “If that would be true, there would be a queue of boys waiting for me.” 

Apart from this, Kapil also teased her regarding her marriage. He drew a connection between Aditya Roy Kapur and his co-stars who got married after working with him, like he worked with Katrina in Fitoor, she got married. He worked with Alia Bhatt in Sadak 2, she got married and he also worked with Sobhita Dhulipala in Night Manager who too got married. Sara, who is known for her wit, flipped the coin and said that it's Aditya’s turn, he will get married now.

Metro... In Dino is an upcoming film directed by Anurag Basu and is considered a sequel to the 2007 film, Life in a...Metro. The film will follow multiple love stories set against the backdrop of urban life. The film stars amazing actors like Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkana Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, and Anupam Kher. The film is all set to release in theatres on July 4, 2025.
