The story of The Conjuring: Last Rites revolves around two families, the 'Warrens' and 'Smurls'. The 'Smurl' family experiences paranormal activities due to an antique mirror. The demon who resides inside the mirror is a connection with 'Ed Warren' and 'Lorraine Warren'. When 'Judy', the daughter of 'Ed Warren' and 'Lorraine Warren', gets into the chaos of the 'Smurl' family, 'Lorraine' and ailing 'Ed' come to the family’s rescue. As they go deeper, the 'Warrens' identify the demon, and it has a link with their first case. The film focuses on the journey of 'Ed' and 'Lorraine' as paranormal investigators who have to save both the 'Smurls' and themselves.
