The film, Baahubali, directed by SS Rajamouli and starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia, was first released in 2015. Well, the film didn't just break records, it redefined Indian cinema. The film earned global recognition because of its amazing visuals, larger-than-life scale and unique story. After the two blockbuster films, the makers are all set to return with Bahubali: The Epic. Amid that, the cinematographer of the film, recently recalled an incident from the first day of shoot.
The man behind the incredible shots of the film, Baahubali is the cinematographer, KK Senthil Kumar, who recently appeared on the Torch Bearers Podcast. While having a candid conversation on the podcast, he recalled an incident that took place during the first day of the shoot. He shared that Prabhas and Rana were shooting an outdoor scene, but a crowd gathered around them only to meet the Saaho actor. He was quoted as saying:
"It was unbelievable. Thousands of people had lined up. We didn’t expect so many people to turn up for a film like this. No matter where we placed the camera, people would still be in the shot, despite our attempts to move them. We had to pack up and try the next day. But still, people came; it was impossible to shoot."

The cinematographer of the film, Baahubali, continued to add that this incident took place before Baahubali was released. He further explained that the stardom of Prabhas has increased by ten times after the release of SS Rajamouli’s film. In his words:
"Yes, Prabhas was a big star, but this was before Baahubali had even been released. After Baahubali, he has become ten times bigger. Now, let alone India, we cannot shoot with him outdoors in Japan, too."

Baahubali: The Beginning was released in 2015, and it captured the attention of viewers with its stunning visuals and powerful narrative. The film helped Prabhas become a pan-India star. Soon, the makers returned with its sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion in 2017. The film broke multiple records and became one of India's highest-grossing films.
