'The Trial Season 2' Trailer Review, Kajol Shines As Lawyer And A Fierce Mother In The Legal Drama

Kajol definitely is having a great year with back-to-back successes. With blockbuster performances in The Trial, Do Patti and Maa, she has once again proved why she remains one of Bollywood’s most versatile actors. After 3 hits, Kajol is back with yet another OTT legal drama, The Trial Season 2, to win the hearts of the audience all over again. 

The trailer of The Trial Season 2 is out

Recently, JioHotstar dropped the trailer of Season 2 of the much-awaited legal drama, The Trial. The powerful trailer opens with 'Noyonika Sengupta’ (played by Kajol) thinking about her marriage and within the first 10 seconds of it, she clearly states that she wants a divorce from her husband. But her husband can't leave her as he needs 'Noyonika's' image to win elections.

Gradually, the trailer shows Kajol's character juggling with legal cases, personal struggles and professional issues. The trailer catches attention towards the end, when 'Noyonika's' children are dragged in between and 'Noyonika' is now ready to fight not as a lawyer, but as a mother. The trailer promises that this new season will be full of more tensions, more drama and more confrontations.

The cast and crew of The Trial Season 2

The powerful legal drama, The Trial Season 2, is directed by Umesh Bist and the show brings back Kajol as 'Noyonika Sengupta'. Apart from her, The Trial Season 2 also stars talented actors like Jisshu Sengupta, Alyy Khan, Sheeba Chaddha, Kubbra Sait, Asrani, Karanvir Sharma, Gaurav Pandey and more. The Trial Season 2 will be released on September 19, 2025, on JioHotstar.

Within hours of the trailer’s release, fans went crazy seeing Kajol coming back for this show. Users in the comment section started showering their love and expressing excitement to watch the show.
