Over the last few years, we have seen some of the strongest television couples tie the knot and who have redefined love, marriage and togetherness. One such couple who wins our hearts every time they do something for each other or post something on social media is Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta.
They look fabulous together; they have a terrific chemistry and have always stuck by each other no matter what. Undoubtedly, these two lovebirds have re-instilled our faith in fairytale romance and a dreamlike courtship.

But there was one point in their life, Ravi and Sargun were in a long-distance marriage and as expected, even while at it, they gave us a few adorable couple goals. The reason behind the long distance marriage was their respective careers. While Ravi was busy with his daily soap Jamai Raja, Sargun on the other hand, was busy with Punjabi projects, for which she was mostly shooting outside Mumbai.

Sargun has been a part of Punjabi movies like Angrej (2015), Love Punjab (2016) and Jindua (2017). She even won the Best Actress award for her role in Angrej.

From the time these two got hitched in 2013, they had hardly been away from each other. In fact, 2016 was the first time that Ravi and Sargun weren’t together for New Year’s eve! Sad, right?
When leading entertainment portal TellyChakkar reached out to Ravi on how he is managing without his beautiful wifey, he said:
“My days are empty when Sargun is not around. It’s very boring and I don’t look forward to it or like to do anything. When I return home, there is no one to welcome me. But I am happy that she is concentrating on her career. Whenever we miss each other or wish to talk, we video-call so that we can see each other and feel good about it. Thankfully, my dog is there with whom I play around at home. He gives me company on bed so that I don’t feel lonely.”
And talking about the benefits of a long-distance marriage, he said:
“However, I believe that distance makes a relationship stronger. Thanks to technology that we can chat and see our partner via phone. Hope to see Sargun back in town soon.”
