Abhinay Kinger was a former Indian actor who appeared in Tamil and Malayalam cinema. He made his debut in the film industry in 2002 with Dhanush's first film as a lead hero, Thulluvadho Ilamai, directed by Kasthuri Raj. While the film earned him immense love from the audience, and he appeared in several projects after that, such as Jjunction, Singara Chennai, and Pon Megalai, his final years on the planet were marked by immense struggles as he battled a severe liver condition alone.
Tamil actor, Abhinay, best known for his role in the 2002 film, Thulluvadho Ilamai, passed away on Monday. The actor took his last breath on the morning of November 10, 2025, after his prolonged battle with liver disease. According to reports, the actor was 44 years old at the time of his demise. As per a report by Mathrubhumi, Abhinay has been suffering from a severe liver condition for several years. However, recently his health deteriorated, and despite the best medical treatment possible, he passed away.

The publication revealed that the actor had been receiving medical treatment for years. However, as his health worsened and the financial crunch strained his pocket, the actor unfortunately took his last breath on November 10, 2025. Abhinay's death has sent shockwaves across the Tamil film industry. His colleagues and fans have mourned his demise on social media.

It was not long ago that the actor Abhinay asked for financial help with medical expenses. In a viral video, the actor revealed that doctors had said that he might only live for about a year and a half. Comedian, KPY Bala had lent monetary support to the actor. Dhanush, Abhinay's co-star from his debut film, also reportedly donated Rs. 5 lakh. KPY Bala later gave an additional Rs. 1 lakh to help with Abhinay's treatment. Unfortunately, despite the aid, the actor could not be saved. In the viral video, he was quoted as saying:
"I do not know if I will be around for longer."

While not much is known about actor, Abhinay's personal life, a recent report has revealed that the actor didn't have a family. This has led to Abhinay's last rites being organised by the South Indian Artistes' Association (SIAA) member, Nadigar Sangam, as he has no family to perform the final rites.

Abhinay marked his debut alongside Dhanush in Thulluvadho Ilamai. The film also marked a special milestone for Dhanush as it was his first appearance as a lead actor. Abhinay played 'Vishnu', one of Dhanush's close friends in the film. He starred in more than 15 films across Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. Abhinay also worked as a dubbing artist. He lent his voice for Vidyut Jammwal's character in the Tamil film, Thuppakki (2012), directed by AR Murugadoss, which also starred Thalapathy Vijay.
