The Founder of T-Series, Gulshan Kumar is among the most recognised personalities in India. He was the one, who laid the foundation of India's biggest music label back in July 1983. Unlike his brother, Gulshan Kumar, who went into music production, Krishan Kumar started his professional journey as an actor. While Gulshan was making his mark in the music industry, Krishna made his acting debut back in 1993 with the film, Aaja Meri Jaan.
In the film, his character's name was 'Chand Kapoor,' and he received a lot of mixed reviews for his acting. However, in the following years, Krishan appeared in a series of films, including Kasam Teri Kasam, Shabnam, Bewafa Sanam, Pagla Kahin Ka, and Papa the Great.

Despite working in a series of films, Krishan couldn't make his mark on the film industry with his acting. However, he soon ventured into production and became a film producer in Hindi cinema. The first film he produced was Salman Khan's Lucky: No Time for Love.

Talking about the personal life of Krishan Kumar, the renowned film producer is married to a glamourous actress named Tanya Singh. For the uninitiated, Krishan and Tanya reportedly got married in July 2002.
Tanya is a former professional actress, who reportedly made her acting debut in the film, Aaja Meri Jaan. She also appeared in movies like Kanoon, Dhadkan, and Khanki Hai Chudiyan. However, she didn't work in any film after 2001 and reportedly gave up on acting.
For the uninitiated, Krishan Kumar and his wife, Tanya Singh made their acting debut in the film, Aaja Meri Jaan. The duo reportedly knew each other even before working on their debut film, Aaja Meri Jaan. As per multiple reports, Krishan Kumar's elder brother, Gulshan Kumar was allegedly in contact with Tanya Singh's father and popular singer of that time, Ajit Singh. After some years of their wedding, Krishan and Tanya welcomed a baby girl into their lives and chose the name 'Tishaa Kumar' for their daughter.
It was on July 18, 2024, when Krishan Kumar and Tanya Singh's only child, their daughter, Tishaa Kumar passed away. She was just 21 when she left for her heavenly abode and succumbed to cancer.
As soon as the news of her demise made its way on social media, people couldn't believe it as she was just a young kid, and it was heartbreaking to see her go like this. Soon after her death, Tishaa's cousins, Bhushan Kumar, Tulsi Kumar, and Khushali Kumar paid their respective tributes to her on social media.

According to a report on Zoom TV, Tishaa Kumar's treatment was going on in Germany, and that is where she passed away. Despite giving the best treatment, doctors couldn't save her life from cancer. Soon after the painful demise of Tishaa, T-Series released an official statement in which they confirmed Tisha's death reports. An excerpt from the official statement could be read as:
"Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar, passed away yesterday after a prolonged battle with an illness. This is difficult time for the family, and we kindly request that family's privacy is respected."
The sudden demise of Tishaa Kumar at the age of 21 has shocked the entire Kumar family. It's fair to say that Tishaa's parents, Krishan Kumar and Tanya Singh are the ones, who are facing its pain the most. The doting parents are absolutely shattered to lose their only child to cancer at such a young age. We hope Krishan and Tanya manage to hold on to themselves after the heartbreaking demise of their daughter, Tishaa.
