In a recent interview with writer, Jia Tolentino at the New Yorker Festival, Demi Moore shared that she was eight months pregnant when she started filming for the 1992 movie, A Few Good Men. For the unversed, the film, directed by Rob Reiner, also stars Tom Cruise, known for Mission: Impossible. Demi was pregnant with her second child, Scout Willis, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Bruce Willis. The Substance star later claimed that her co-star, Tom, was a bit awkward about her being pregnant. He was allegedly uncomfortable with the thing. Demi was quoted as saying:

"I think Tom was quite embarrassed. I actually felt okay about it. I was moving around, though, right? But I could tell he felt that it was a bit awkward."

In the same interview, Demi not only claimed that Tom felt uneasy with her pregnancy when they were filming for the legal drama, A Few Good Men, but she also explained why she felt this. The Substance actress shared that back then, it was uncommon for women to balance both work and motherhood. She mentioned that few women existed who balanced both, and she was among them, for which she had to go through a lot of pressure. In her words:

"It's one of the many things, for me, that I just felt didn't make sense. And so I challenged that to say, you know, 'Why not? Why can't you have both?' But with that, I think, came a lot of pressure I put on myself to, in a sense, prove that it was possible."
