According to multiple local outlets, including Folha de São Paulo, Tony Germano has passed away after falling from the roof of his home in São Paulo on November 26, 2025. The 55-year-old had reportedly climbed up to inspect the ongoing renovation work at his parents' home when he suddenly lost balance and suffered fatal injuries. Although emergency services were called immediately, Tony was unable to make it. The news was confirmed by Tony's representative, who told PEOPLE:
"Tony suffered a fall at his residence and, unfortunately, did not survive his injuries. We kindly ask for respect and understanding during this painful time."

The spokesperson also emphasized that Tony's death has come as a shock to the people close to him. He noted that the night before the voice actor's demise, he spent time with his sister. During their conversation, he seemed "well and excited" over his life and plans. Consequently, sudden death has been difficult to process for everyone.

According to local news reports, Tony Germano had recently moved into his parents' former home, where renovations were underway. He was reportedly alone at home when he fell on the early morning of November 26, 2025. Subsequently, a funeral service was held in his honour the next day, on November 27, 2025, at the Bosque da Paz Cemetery in Vargem Grande Paulista, where he was laid to rest. Describing his death as a major loss, his representative said:
"Tony leaves behind a legacy of dedication, generosity, and immense talent. His absence will be deeply felt."

Tony Germano is survived by his sister and extended family members, including his nieces and nephews. Although he had lived alone and had no children, those close to him reveal that he had strong ties to his family. In fact, he cherished spending time with his family. His sister, who saw him the night before his death, shared privately that he was optimistic about the renovations at his home. At the same time, he was looking forward to settling down in the restored home. Fans also shared heartfelt messages on his Instagram page, recalling him and commented, calling him a "kind", "brilliant", and "a soul full of light" person.

Tony Germano was known for his warm voice with an exceptional range, which allowed him to emulate a variety of voices. He worked across different genres, including TV, animation, film, and theater. Tony also lent his voice to Portuguese-language versions of hit films, including Nickelodeon's Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn, Netflix's Go, Dog, Go!, and Disney's live-action, Beauty and the Beast. He even voiced the characters for Elena of Avalor, The Muppets, and Sheriff Callie's Wild West.
