Bimal Roy-Nutan

Bimal Roy- an iconic director and perhaps the most decorated one in Indian cinema.  Nutan – a fabulous actor from a very talented filmy family. When these two geniuses worked together something special was sure to be created. It happened in 1959 and the film was Sujata. Next came ‘Bandini’ in 1963. These two films remain among the finest work of Indian cinema to this day. Both films dealt with unconventional issues and won Best film, director and actress Filmfare awards.
