Ranbir Kapoor's film, Animal has been grabbing all the headlines since the time it was released. The film received a lot of positive as well as negative responses from the audience. In just six days of its release, Animal crossed Rs. 300 crores at the domestic box office, which makes the movie one of the blockbusters of the year. However, in the movie, we could see Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead alongside Ranbir. However, there was another actress who stole all the limelight and was even announced as 'New National Crush', and she is none other than Tripti Dimri.
In the movie, Tripti Dimri acts as 'Zoya', an ally of the antagonist who comes close to the protagonist, 'Vijay' to help his foes. However, there had been several intimate scenes between Ranbir and Tripti, which brought a lot of criticism along with praise. And now, the diva opened up about the same.

In an interview with ETimes, when asked about the intimate scenes with Ranbir Kapoor, Tripti said that the intimate scenes in recent films were a lot easier than they were in her earlier film, Bulbul. Going further in the interview, Tripti mentioned that she never faced way too much criticism in the early years of her career. But now, for the first time, she faced a mixture of both praise and criticism. Tripti went on to add that as long as she feels comfortable by each and every means, she wants to go forward and experience everything as an actress and as a human being. Tripti added:
"The scene is getting a lot of criticism as well and it did disturb me initially because I am someone who has hardly faced criticism with my first few films, this time it was a mixture of both. As long as I am comfortable, as long as people around me on set are making me comfortable and as long as I know whatever I am doing is right, I am going to do it because that is something I want to experience as an actor and as a human being."
Going further in the interview, Tripti Dimri stated how the intimate scenes on the Animal set were shot. The diva added that there were only four people when the scenes had been shot, and each of them made her utterly comfortable. The actress then hit back at the criticism and said those who have the slightest idea about how the sets work, their imagination can take them anywhere. Elaborating more on the same, Tripti added:
"On set, there are literally four people that day - me, Ranbir, Sandeep sir and the DOP (director of photography). Every five minutes they were asking me 'Are you okay? Is that something you want? Are you comfortable?'. When people around you are giving you that much support, you don't feel odd at all. Of course, the people who don't know how a set works and how these scenes are shot, for them imagination can take you anywhere. For them, it must be shocking and everybody is entitled to their opinion but as for me, I was very comfortable and I would always do what my character demands of me."
