Post the release of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s much-awaited film, Animal, actress, Triptii Dimri is enjoying her overnight stardom. The gorgeous diva gained huge applause for her minor role in the film and is still basking in the limelight. Triptii was recently spotted in the city with her rumoured boyfriend as the duo went shopping.
In one of the videos shared by paparazzi, Triptii was seen coming out of a mart along with her rumoured boyfriend, Sam Merchant. She looked stunning in a green-coloured T-shirt, which she paired with loose black pants. On the other hand, Sam donned a pink-coloured T-shirt and white-coloured jeans. As the duo indulged in some conversation, Triptii was surprised to spot the paps stationed outside the mart.

Earlier, Triptii was dating Anushka Sharma’s brother, Karnesh Sharma, but the duo broke up. After her breakup, Triptii found love in the arms of model-turned-businessman Sam Merchant, although the actress or the businessman never addressed the rumours. Triptii and Sam’s dating rumours started making rounds after several selfies and photos of the duo surfaced online from Triptii's friend's wedding soiree.
Talking about Sam Merchant, he is a model turned businessman. As per several reports, Sam is the founder of Waters Beach Lounge & Grill in Goa. Another report by Deccan Chronicle mentioned that Sam Merchant bagged the Gladrags Manhunt Contest back in 2002. He is also a well-known social media persona and is followed by several actors and actresses.

Though Triptii Dimri had a very limited screen time in Sandeep Reddy’s film, Animal, the actress nailed her character so well that people couldn’t stop praising her. She not only became a sensation but was also tagged as the 'National Crush'. She portrayed the character of 'Zoya' in the film and was also tagged as 'Bhabhi No. 2'. After the release of Animal, IMDb released a list of 'Popular Indian Celebrities', and it was Triptii who topped the list.
Triptii ventured into modelling in 2014-2015 before making it big on the silver screen. She had been a part of various magazine covers and commercials. The actress made her acting debut in 2017 in the Bollywood film, Poster Boys, which also starred actors, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade. Triptii was also seen in a brief role in Sridevi starrer, Mom. Her first major role came with the film, Laila Majnu in 2018. In 2020, Triptii made her digital debut in Netflix’s supernatural drama, Bulbbul. In 2022, she appeared in a critically acclaimed film, Qala and awestruck everyone with her effortless acting.
On the work front, Triptii Dimri will be next seen in the film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
