Many A-listed stars graced the 69th Filmfare Awards held in Gujarat on January 28, 2024 in style. From Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and many others, it was a starry night. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film, Animal bagged six awards, leading to a maximum number of awards won by a film. Amid the stellar cast of the film, actress, Triptii Dimri, who got a lot of limelight in the film, also made a classy appearance at the award show.
The diva made a bold statement as she donned a sequined gown while walking on the red carpet of the Filmfare Awards 2024. Triptii’s gown featured a body-hugging silhouette with shimmery silver sequins and a long trail. She complemented her look with loose tresses, minimal makeup and strappy heels. The actress graced the red carpet and posed for the paps stationed at the venue.

As soon as pictures and videos of the stunning actress made their way to Reddit, an array of comments poured in. Many Redditors felt that Triptii’s gown was disappointing as it looked tacky. Some even commented that the actress looked uncomfortable and couldn’t carry the attire with ease.

Though Triptii Dimri had a very limited screen time in Sandeep Reddy’s film, Animal, the actress nailed her character so well that people couldn’t stop praising her. She not only became a sensation but was also tagged as the 'National Crush'. She portrayed the character of 'Zoya' in the film and was also tagged as 'Bhabhi No. 2'. After the release of Animal, IMDb released a list of 'Popular Indian Celebrities', and it was Triptii who topped the list.

As per a report in India Today, it was stated that Triptii’s IG follower count increased by 430 per cent in December 2023. The actress had 6 lakh followers until November 2023, and after the release of Animal, her followers rose to 3.7 million. Her followers' list includes popular stars, including Alia Bhatt, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Kusha Kapila, among others.
Triptii ventured into modelling in 2014-2015 before making it big on the silver screen. She had been a part of various magazine covers and commercials. The actress made her acting debut in 2017 in the Bollywood film, Poster Boys, which also starred actors, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Shreyas Talpade. Triptii was also seen in a brief role in Sridevi starrer, Mom. Her first major role came with the film, Laila Majnu in 2018. In 2020, Triptii made her digital debut in Netflix’s supernatural drama, Bulbbul. In 2022, she appeared in a critically acclaimed film, Qala and awestruck everyone with her effortless acting.
