Well, did you know that Trisha's wedding buzz with a Chandigarh man began last year while her dating speculations with Vijay were already ongoing.

It was being reported that the actress's family has given approval to the marriage. The actress took to her social media and dropped a story wherein she shared that she just loves how people plan her life for her. Well, it was an indirect jab about the baseless rumours around her and her personal life that Trisha addressed. The actress further mentioned that if this continues to go this way only, soon people would even end up planning her honeymoon for her. Trisha wrote:

"I love when people plan my life for me. Just waiting for them to plan the honeymoon too."

It was in 2015 that the gorgeous actress exchanged rings with Varun Manian. The actress's fans were left in utter joy with the announcement of the same. However, it was 5 months after the engagement that Trisha called off her wedding to Varun. While the exact reason was not disclosed back then, it was reported that after a certain period of time, the couple was not able to connect as they had different perspectives.

It was also speculated that Varun's dad was against his wish to marry the actress, as he wanted his son to marry someone with a similar background to them. Speculations were also rife that Trisha called off her engagement because Varun asked her to quit acting. As per other reports, Varun was not okay with Trisha's co-star, so much so that when Dhanush, Trisha's close friend, attended her engagement, he lost it, and a huge spat broke out. As per OnManorama, Trisha said that she decided to call off her engagement because the person she chose to marry asked her to give up on acting, so she gave up on him instead, because she intends to keep acting until the day she breathes.
