Jared has been known for his methodical acting in both Dallas Buyers Club and Morbius. He did not just play 'Ares' in the movie, but also shaped the entire narrative of the anti-hero digital part. As an actor and a producer, he has developed a darker aspect in the Tron land. According to a report by Flickonclick and IMDbPro, Tron is one of the most expensive Disney sci-fi movies in recent times, reportedly having a budget of USD 180 million.
Greta essayed the role of 'Eve Kim', depicted as a programmer tasked with bridging the gap between artificial intelligence and humanity. She is best known for her work in Past Lives, and as her fame rose, so did her pay. According to a report by the same publication, Greta earned between USD 1 and 4 million and is recognised as one of the finest Hollywood stars. Her role in Tron: Ares is rich with emotions and serves as the centre of the movie.
Evan, who is an Emmy recipient, is best known for Dahmer and American Horror Story. He played the role of 'Julian Dilinger', who is shown to be the ambiguous moral son of the real Tron villain. He reportedly took home USD 1 to USD 4 million and was paid equally in Greta's bracket. His character was shown to blur the lines between redemption and rebellion and showcased narratives where he best played his role. Well, the supporting cast of the movie that had Jodie Turner Smith, Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro, along with Gillian Anderson, reportedly took somewhere between USD 500,000 and USD 2 million. Well, it is interesting to note that the cast of the film was not just paid for their acting chops but also showed a future of the beloved franchise.
For the unversed,Tron: Ares has been directed by Joachim Renning and was earlier shot in Vancouver, Canada. The shooting of the film was wrapped in 2024, and the post-production involved visual effects where photorealistic CGI was merged with innovations that also increased the budget.
