Netizens React To Twinkle Khanna And Kajol Justifying Extramarital Affairs As 'Raat Gayi Baat Gayi'

Twinkle Khanna and Kajol have teamed up for the chat show, Two Much, streaming on Amazon Prime. The recent episode was graced by Janhvi Kapoor and Karan Johar. While the episode was fun, one segment has stirred debate across the internet on infidelity being okay in a relationship. 

Twinkle Khanna and Kajol called infidelity okay in a relationship 

Twinkle Khanna stirred controversy during the recent episode. It all started during the 'This or That' segment on the show. The first question was whether love was enough to marry someone, or if compatibility was also needed. While Twinkle and Janhvi argued that love was important, Kajol disagreed, stating that it doesn't survive without compatibility.  

However, the next question showed the generation divide as Twinkle asked if emotional infidelity is worse than physical infidelity. Janhvi found herself alone as she believed that they both were wrong and physical infidelity is the deal breaker. Twinkle was quick to share her stance and stated that they are in their 50s, while she is in her 30s, and she will get in the circle. She said:

"Raat gayi baat gayi."

The internet was quick to react to such a statement and made infidelity in a relationship look so normal. The snippet of the video was shared on Reddit. Netizens flooded the comments section. One user pointed out how Twinkle and Kajol are acknowledging the deeds of their husband, "They are just openly acknowledging the deeds of their husbands."

A second user wrote, "So sad that they’ve been cheated on so much that they’ve accepted it as a part of their 'happy marriage'." A third user hoped Janhvi keep maintaining that stance, "I hope JK has the same stand till the end of her life cause her relationship seems solid with Shikhu." Another commented, "How pathetic that Twinkle and Kajol have had to tell themselves physical infidelity is ok to deal with their husbands cheating on them over the years. Never thought I'd agree with anything Janhvi said."

Karan Johar makes scandalous remarks

During another segment, Janhvi challenged Karan Johar, who is her family friend, to reveal something scandalous about himself, and come up with one lie, and then she would guess which one is true. The actress said, "Tell us one scandalous truth about yourself and make up one lie, and we’ll guess which one is true." Karan took the challenge and revealed that he lost his virginity at the age of 26. He said:

"I lost my virginity when I was 26 years old, and I’ve been intimately involved with a member of your family."

However, he left everyone stunned when he said that he had been intimately involved with a member of Janhvi's family. While Janhvi was left shocked by the last statement, Twinkle and Kajol laughed out loud. However, Karan, without wasting any time, denied any involvement with any member of Janhvi's family. He said:

"I was late to that party and I have not been intimate with any member from your family. Though the thought has crossed my mind a couple of times."
