Recently, Twinkle Khanna a.k.a Mrs. Funnybones wrote a hilarious new piece on boredom. In her latest column For The Times Of India, Twinkle talked about boredom and how sometimes, one must embrace it. In the same column, she even recalled how boredom helped her and Akshay come closer. Talking about the same, she mentioned that it was the boredom that made her more receptive toward her co-star, who is now her husband. In her words:
"On the other hand, being bored at one point, (before the advent of smartphones, where I could idle away hours scrolling through feeds of airport looks) also made me more receptive to taking up the arduous task of jogging with my co-actor, which eventually led to matrimony and two kids with slightly more athletic genes."

On January 17, 2023, Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary. And to mark the day, the author had taken to her Instagram handle and shared a video, which she deleted later. The video featured a glimpse of a beautiful hand-written card which had a cartoon named Tina. Along with the video, Twinkle also mentioned that on their 5th date, she had told Akshay that she would never marry a person like him.
Twinkle's doting husband, Akshay too, had shared an adorable anniversary post on his Instagram handle. He shared a cutesy picture with his wife, Twinkle. In the picture, the much-in-love couple could be enjoying each other's company. Twinkle looked elegant in a pink-coloured saree paired with a white blouse, Akshay donned an embroidered kurta-pyjama set. Along with the picture, Akshay even penned a heartfelt note for his wifey and showered love on her.

Twinkle Khanna, who is currently pursuing a Master's in Fiction Writing at the prestigious London University, often shares glimpses from her college life. For instance, on November 17, 2022, Twinkle had taken to her IG space and shared a video of herself from her blissful University days. In the video, we could see Twinkle's excitement as she enters college. The video even featured her darling hubby, Akshay Kumar, who went there to pick her up from the university, and it's simply adorable.

For the unversed, Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar got married on January 17, 2001, in a dreamy wedding. Later, on September 15, 2002, the couple embraced parenthood for the first time after the birth of their son, Aarav Kumar. However, their family got complete after Twinkle and Akshay welcomed their daughter, Nitara on September 25, 2012.
