Twinkle Khanna is famous for her witty nature and on-point remark. She has an opinion on everything and beautifully knows how to share it with a pinch of humour with her pen name, "Mrs Funnybones". The actress-turned-writer inspired millions when she decided to complete her education at the age of 47. She relocated with her daughter, Nitara, to London to pursue her master's from Goldsmiths, University of London, in 2022.
In an interview with Hello Magazine, Twinkle Khanna talked about her experience studying at a university in London. She revealed that no one could recognise her, as there were not many Indians, except one girl with a Kashmiri background from Chicago. Twinkle further revealed that, like other students, she also had to create a bio, stand up and introduce herself. She was quoted as saying:

"I don’t think anyone in my class did. It was good because there weren’t any other Indians there, except for one girl with a Kashmiri background from Chicago. Like everyone else, I had to create a bio, stand up and introduce myself. I had to come up with a joke about my name, a literary one. Fortunately, Jhumpa Lahiri wrote The Interpreter of Maladies and there’s a character named Twinkle. That became the perfect joke."

"When the professor assigned three of us a presentation, we decided to have lunch together. We quickly became friends, and from then on, I never ate lunch alone again. I made a lot of new and good friends."
On November 17, 2022, Twinkle shared a cute video of her university days on her Instagram handle. In the clip, we could see Twinkle's excitement as she enters college. We can also see Twinkle posing with her hubby, Akshay Kumar, who picks her up from the University. Alongside it, Twinkle penned a long note on how it feels to complete assignments with her kids in the evening. She had written:
"That's it like to be an older student going back to university to do my Masters? I feel like my mind has been thrown into a washing machine every day and it's a delight to walk around with squeaky clean ideas. There are evenings when I am working on my assignments and the kids are working on theirs-on our dining table with papers strewn across and shared pencils. And I turn into a giddy teenager when my husband come to pick me up from uni."

After she successfully completed her education, Akshay penned a congratulatory message for her. He called her 'superwoman' as she managed a full-fledged student life along with managing her home, her career, her husband and her kids. He wrote:
"Two years ago when you told me you wanted to take up studies all over again, I wondered if you meant it. But the day I saw you work so hard and perfectly manage a full-fledged student life along with home, career, me and kids, I knew I had married a super woman. Today on your graduation, I also wish I had studied a bit more to know enough words to tell you how proud you make me, Tina. Congratulations and all my love."
