Twinkle Khanna Takes A Dig At Friendships In Bollywood By Asking Orry To Write A Book On The Same?

Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry, is currently one of the most hyped people on social media. He is one such fellow on social media, who effortlessly manages to be the centre of attraction at almost every Bollywood bash. Although much about his profession is yet to be discovered, his line, 'I'm a liver', has been celeb-approved and widely loved. Thus, Orry's captivating presence, both on and off social media, has engraved his position as a celebrity in the film industry. Moreover, Twinkle Khanna also recently opened up about the same.

Twinkle Khanna reveals she would buy the book on 'How to make friends in Bollywood' if Orry writes it

In her Times of India column, Twinkle Khanna penned down a list of 'feasible' resolutions for 2024, among which in one, she drew inspiration from the animated movie, Finding Nemo. The movie centered around the concept of following 'Dory'. However, Twinkle mentioned that she would instead follow 'Orry' and opened up about her fascination towards him. Twinkle also talked about how Orry has recognised his strengths and has been capitalising on them. She mentioned that even after Orry has no conventional profession, he has crafted his own prominence by attending parties and mingling with well-known personalities.

Twinkle also took an example of how a few senior journalists once jokingly referred to each other as the 'Orry of poor people' and the 'Orry of intellectuals' during a podcast. Twinkle clearly stated that Orry doesn't fit the typical roles of an actor or businessman or engage in activities like dancing, singing, or producing commodities like oil, coal, or steel. Moreover, Orry doesn't even participate in elections or cricket. But he still has great prominence. Thus, Twinkle expressed her wish to buy a book if Orry writes one based on 'How to Make Friends and Influence People in Bollywood'. Well, this statement from Twinkle was quite enough to understand whether she was taking a dig at friendships in Bollywood.

Orry who is working on himself and not on Bollywood friendships

Talking about Orry's growing popularity despite following any conventional profession, he had once revealed how a particular picture with Kylie Jenner played a significant role in elevating his visibility. In an interview with Cosmopolitan, he mentioned that he doesn't consider posing with eminent people in the industry for fame. Instead, he called them, his friends. Afterwards, when Orry was asked about people constantly asking about his profession in almost all his Instagram posts, he gave a rather philosophical answer. Orhan stated that he was working on his body, mind and soul, and said:

"No. I am working on myself. I am going to the gym, I am doing a lot of self-reflection. Sometimes I am doing yoga, I get massages. You know! I am working."

Twinkle Khanna once revealed why she would never join Bollywood again

On the other hand, in an old interview with the IANS, Twinkle once and for all addressed the much-asked question about her possible return to Bollywood. It was after the trailer release of her actor-husband, Akshay Kumar's then-upcoming film, Laxmmi Bomb, that people assumed that Twinkle would make a possible return to the silver screens. However, Twinkle clearly stated that she's not going to return to Bollywood, and it's not because she never received good scripts but because of the challenges of being in the spotlight. She said:

"I don't think I quit because there were no good roles. It is just a space I have left far behind. The spotlight gives me a bit of a heat stroke, to be honest."
