Being a mother is the toughest job as one is required to be on her toes 24*7 and that too without loosing her patience. And when one is the mother of a baby girl, then the relationship has to be dealt with a lot of consciousness. A mommy has to win her daughter’s trust and be her best friend. The gorgeous Twinkle Khanna is known for her wit and the way she manages her professional as well as personal life. Also known as Mrs Funnybones, Twinkle is a hands-on mommy and shares a warm rapport with her children, Aarav and Nitara. Be it recording Nitara’s Karate practice with daddy, Akshay Kumar or praising Aarav’s cooking skills, the doting mommy loves sharing glimpses of her little ones. Just like her author mom, Nitara too loves reading and we have often seen how the little angel spends most of her time with her books. But this time Nitara surprised us with another talent of hers.
On February 8, 2021, Twinkle Khanna took to her IG handle and shared a video of Nitara playing the popular nursery rhyme, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on guitar. Although Nitara’s face was not visible but the little girl swooned us with her talent. Sharing the clip, the star mommy took a hilarious dig at her own name and wrote, “And she plays for me… It’s not so bad being named after a nursery rhyme after all.”
Twinkle Khanna often gives glimpses of her voracious reader, Nitara and how much the mother-daughter duo loves reading. A few days back, Twinkle had posted a picture of her morning routine with Nitara, doing what they love the most i.e., reading at their favourite corner in the house. Twinkle had captioned the post as “‘You have a quota-25 pages a day and so do I.’ She asks, ‘But who gives you the quota mama?’ ‘That’s the tricky part of being an adult. You have to give yourself these tasks and make sure you stick by them.’ With brushed teeth and uncombed hair, we begin our mornings in the best way possible. It may not be 25 pages everyday, sometimes it’s merely 5, but it all adds up eventually. #readingcorner.” (Also Read: Hardik Pandya Shares A Super Cute Picture Of Son, Agastya Donning An Elephant Robe)
On September 25, 2020, Nitara had turned 8 and Twinkle had penned an adorable birthday wish for her angel. Sharing candid pictures of Nitara, Twinkle had written, “My little one turns 8! Along with all the strange and wonderful bits and bobs that seem to permeate her universe, the first copy of our children’s book-When I Grow Up I Want To Be.. has also been presented to her-for a review:) I don’t know what she wants to be when she grows up, all I know is that it’s happening too fast. #BirthdayGirl.”
In a 2017 interview with the Elle magazine, Twinkle had talked about raising her daughter. She had said, "People always focus on their daughters, they teach them to be independent and liberated. But what about raising a feminist son? The best thing is to teach your kids that they each hold a place of value. Gender is irrelevant. But even if I’m speaking a certain language, my daughter’s exposed to other people. Her favourite show at the moment is this Barbie TV show, and when I asked her what she likes about it, she said “Barbie likes to shop.” That’s a terrible show!"
