Udit Narayan Gets Teased By The Paparazzi At 'The Roshan's' Success Bash, Says, 'Ek Kiss Hojaye..'

Udit Narayan has been facing the wrath of the netizens after a video of him kissing several female fans during a live performance went viral. While the singer called it his fans 'passion' and him just loving his fans uncoditionly, netizens have not been happy about it. However, recently the paparazzi were seen taking a dig at the singer for the same.

Udit Narayan made an appearance at the success celebration of the recently released documentary series, The Roshans. The singer was posing for the media when things took a hilarious turn, when the pparazzi started asking the singer for a kiss. The paparazzi was heard saying heard saying, "Sir, ek kiss hojaye." as the singer walked away.

As soon as the video got shared on the dicussion platform, Reddit, netizens chimmed in to share their opinions. A user wrote, "It's all fun and games till Udit grabs the Pap and fulfils his wish." Another penned, "That lady looked worried that he might just suddenly attack her with a kiss on his way in!!" While another user compared Udit Narayan's controversy to the India's Got Latent controversey and stated, "How did this guy not get cancelled and they are trying to put those latent guys in jail lol I love my India."

It was earlier in February 2025 when a video surfaced on the internet that showed Udit Narayan engaging in inappropriate interactions with his female fans. According to videos circulating on social media, Udit Narayan was performing Tip Tip Barsa Paani when numerous of his female fans gathered near the stage to take selfies with him. One of his female fans turned around and kissed the singer on the cheek. However, things took a drastic turn when the singer returned the gesture by kissing her on her lips.

Udit Narayan responded to the backlash during an interview with HT City. When the publication asked the singer to comment on the ongoing backlash, he shared that fans can be extremely passionate, but he is not like that. He called himself a decent person and asserted that there was no point in making a big deal about the incident. He stated:

"Some people encourage this and show their love through this. Udaake kya karna hai ab iss cheez ko? There are so many people in the crowd, and we have bodyguards present too. But fans think they are getting a chance to meet, so someone extends their hands for a handshake, some kiss the hands...yeh sab deewangi hoti hai. Uspe itna dhyaan nahi dena chahiye. I have been in Bollywood for 46 years now, my image hasn't been such (that I forcefully kiss fans) In fact, I fold my hands when I see the love my fans shower on me, while on stage, I bow down, thinking phir aaj ka yeh waqt laut ke aaye na aaye"
