It was on December 12, 2018, that Isha Ambani got married to her childhood friend, Anand Piramal at their 27-storey Mumbai residence (Antilia) and the decorations and guest list was something that the guests would not forget for the longest of time. We had exclusively shared with you, two pictures of the newly-weds from the wedding, wherein, they had looked like a pair made in heaven! Ace designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee took to Instagram today and shared a beautiful picture of Isha and Anand from their haldi ceremony, wherein they had decked-up in honey-yellow apparels, with Anand holding his then to-be wifey from behind the back. Sharing the picture, Sabyasachi wrote, “Isha Ambani Piramal (@_iiishmagish) and Anand Piramal in Sabyasachi for their Haldi ceremony. #Sabyasachi #IshaAmbani #IshaAmbaniPiramal #AnandPiramal #TheWorldOfSabyasachi.” He had also shared another single picture of Isha from her do. We all had a yearning to see how Isha looks post her wedding and we got a glimpse of the beautiful newbie bride in her post-wedding look during mid-December. What looks like a housewarming-cum-reception bash hosted by the newly-wed couple, wherein, the newbie bride is posing with her girl gang. Decked in a beautiful noodle-strapped, red gown which she teamed with minimal diamond jewellery, what had further accentuated Isha’s look was her mehendi-clad hands and her post-bridal glow! Do you know, the Piramals have gifted their son and bahu, a Rs 450-crore sea facing bungalow in Mumbai? Theirs is a 50,000 sq. ft. mansion which was previously owned by Hindustan Unilever. Speaking about the interiors of the house, it has a 'stunning glass facade' and three 'glazed steel structures' which makes it stand out amongst others. Rigorous remodeling of the house had been going on for quite sometime to make Isha-Anand's home a grand one. As per reports, a London based engineering firm, Eckersley OCallaghan, was given this project. A Mumbai Mirror report also suggested that the plush house has as many as three basements, innumerous dining rooms and an outdoor pool. Isha’s pre-wedding festivities had kick-started from December 07, 2018 when her stylists and people belonging to the glamour world had started flying in for the pre-wedding in Udaipur. With the celebrations spread over a period of almost one week, have you ever calculated how much the Ambanis must be spending for their beti ki shaadi? Get ready for the shock of your life, while we reveal the total expenditure of the Ambanis! Believe it or not, as per a Bloomberg report, the family of Richie Rich’s had shelled out around $15 million, which estimates upto a whopping amount of Rs 70 crore for the wedding!
And why wouldn’t it cost so much? The Ambanis had ensured that there is no fallback on the mehmaano ki khaatirdaari! To give you all a flashback of the extravaganza that the Ambanis did, close to 40 chartered flights had been scheduled for its availability for the wedding. Apart from the flights, the Ambanis and Piramals had booked all the five-star hotels of the city (Udaipur for the pre-wedding) and over a thousand luxurious cars (Jaguars, Porches, Mercedes, Audis and BMWs) were made available at their guest's disposal! After the pre-wedding festivities, the entire troupe of families had flown back to Mumbai, where their wedding took place at the Ambani household in Antilia on December 12, 2018.
