On April 14, 2023, popular actress, Uorfi Javed attended an event in Mumbai and glimpses from the same have been going viral on the internet. In a video shared by a paparazzo account on its Instagram handle, Urfi can be seen gracing the red carpet in a black-coloured off-shoulder satin dress that featured a cut-out detail and a unique golden lizard necklace. She accentuated her look with a crystal stone-studded headband and a lizard-shaped armlet. She complemented her look with shimmery eyeshadow, bold lips, blushed cheeks, highlighted cheekbones and a sleek ponytail.

Netizens react to Uorfi's style statement

Soon after the video went viral on internet, social media users flooded the comment section of the post with hilarious reactions. One of the internet user wrote, "Didi,,Aar chipkali baag gayi pher kon pkdegi top nu." Another user commented, "Medam,,Chipkali ne sara baar rok rakha,,,dekh k kahi baag na jae." Whereas one more user reacted to her outfit and wrote, "Mood kharab karne ka koi award hota toh sabse jyada award urfi ke pass hi hota."

When Uorfi received backlash for a skeleton outfit

On March 26, 2023, Uorfi had attended the OTTPlay Change Makers Awards. For the event, the actress donned a ribcage-shaped purple coloured backless top. She paired it with beige-coloured loose-hanging trousers and completed her look with dewy makeup and a high bun. However, the internet users took a dig at the actress for her sartorial choice and trolled her for the same. Reacting to it, a netizen commented, "Why does she have a problem wearing decent clothes". Another netizen commented, "Urfi ko idea kaun deta hain aisi dresses ka", whereas another one said, "Aliens aane ki der h ab toh bs dharti par."

When Uorfi donned a red saree with a sultry blouse at AJSK's party

A few days ago, the famous designer duo, Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla had hosted a lavish party which was attended by several B-town celebrities, including Uorfi Javed. For the event, Uorfi opted for a red-coloured pre-draped satin saree featuring a thigh-high slit. She paired it with a nude-toned blouse embellished with red stones, statement gold earrings and a Victorian crown. 

Uorfi Javed's career

Uorfi, at the age of 17, ran away from her abusive father after two years of suffering from their daily physical and emotional abuse. She first worked as a teacher in Lucknow, then at a contact centre in Delhi, before finally shifting to Mumbai. However, it was only after her participation in Bigg Boss OTT that she garnered the limelight for her bold outfit choices in public places.
