Urmila Matondkar is one of the most talented actresses of her time. The actress stepped into the Hindi film industry with the movie, Karm. She began her career as a child artist and also worked in several films as a grown-up. It was her acting mettle in Ram Gopal Verma's film, Rangeela, that made her stand out in the crowd, and she became a household name. Recently, one of the actress' stylists from Rangeela talked about her experience of working with Urmila and shared how the actress left her in tears.
In an interview with Bollywood Now, Urmila Matondkar's hair stylist, Nanda recalled how the actress had left her crying and scared when she once worked with her independently. The actress said that she worked with Urmila on a photoshoot for Rangeela at the Borivali National Park, and during that time, she used to be the assistant of another hairstylist, Maria.

Nanda said that when she started working with Urmila for the photo shoot, the actress enquired about Maria. Nanda said that she told Urmila that Maria had some urgent work and she had to go, which is why she was working instead, and the actress then started questioning if the photoshoot was not a work. Nanda said:
"Urmila asked ‘Where is Maria?’ I said ‘Didi has gone for a shoot. She had to go urgently’. So she asked ‘is this not a shoot? Isn’t this work too?’ So I said ‘I don’t know anything. Didi has sent me’."
Going forward in the interview, Nanda said when she was working, Urmila Matondkar continued to point out her mistakes, and stretched it to such a level that it left the stylist in tears. Nanda said that Urmila wanted to work with Maria, and she was okay with the former assisting but was not at all okay with her working independently. Nanda shared that she started crying but didn't show it to the actress, and this is why they were not at all comfortable working with the actress. She also added that she has worked with a lot of celebrities, but it was only while working with Urmila that she became scared. Nanda can be quoted as saying:
"She would constantly point out mistakes because she wanted to work with Maria. She was okay with me assisting but she didn’t like that I was working on her independently. I would just stand with tears rolling down my eyes but I never cried in front of her. She only wanted to work with Maria. We were never comfortable with her."
Urmila Matondkar got married to the love of her life, Mohsin Akhtar Mir in March 2016. The duo's marriage created a stir on the internet due to the couple's different religious beliefs. It was back in 2022, when reports were rife that the couple had welcomed a baby girl. They posted a photo of a cute baby girl, and soon, netizens assumed that it was the couple's daughter.

The speculations began as Mohsin skipped mentioning who the little baby was in the photo and wished her first birthday. However, soon, netizens started filling the comment section wondering if the couple had become parents; later, Mohsin edited his caption to say it was actually his niece.
