Urvashi Rautela Blames 'Kathni Yog' For Status As Unmarried Woman, Reveals She Has To Wait 2.5 Years

Many recognize Urvashi Rautela as having won the title of Miss Diva — Miss Universe India 2015. However, fewer may remember that she also won another award as the World's Most Eligible Bachelorette. Yes, Urvashi was given this title last year in 2023. But recently, the Singh Saab The Great actress opened up about being unable to tie the knot for the next two and a half years. Urvashi's confession has left some fans eagerly anticipating her future wedding and others confused about the oddly specific waiting period. 

Urvashi Rautela blames Kathni Yog for her current status as a single woman 

Fans of the stunning actress, Urvashi Rautela have long been waiting to see her as a beautiful bride. Sadly, they will have to wait a little longer as the actress revealed that she cannot marry for another 2.5 years while in conversation with Instant Bollywood. Urvashi opened up about her reasons for staying single and said: 

"Kathni Yog is going on now and whoever is going through Kathni Yog, one should not get married during that period. Kathni Yog is for 2.5 years, so there is still some time left for that."

For the unversed, Kathni Yog refers to specific obstacles in her horoscope. The period lasting 2.5 years is believed to create challenges in a person's life, especially in matters related to marriage.

Urvashi Rautela's linkup rumours with Rishabh Pant

Rumors about Urvashi Rautela and cricketer Rishabh Pant being involved were circulating earlier. However, the actress swiftly denied the same in a conversation with NDTV. She was heard saying:

"Regarding the persistent rumors linking me with RP (Rishabh Pant), I want to clarify that these memes and rumors are unfounded. I prefer to keep my personal life private. My focus remains on my career and the work I am passionate about. It's important to address such matters with transparency and to concentrate on the truth rather than speculation. I don't understand why meme material pages get super excited."

Urvashi had tactfully avoided using Rishabh's name in the interview, instead addressing him as 'Mr RP.' However, what truly caught the attention of fans was the story she told about 'Mr RP' waiting for her in a hotel lobby for almost 10 hours. And they weren't the only ones to take note. In a cryptic Instagram story, Rishabh penned: 

"It's funny how people lie in interviews just for some meager popularity and for hitting the headlines. Sad how some people are thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them."

Urvashi Rautela on the work front

On the work front, Urvashi Rautela made her Bollywood debut with Singh Saab the Great in 2013. The actress couldn't have asked for a better start as she was paired with the renowned, Sunny Deol. She later featured in several movies such as Great Grand Masti, Hate Story 4 Pagalpanti , and Sanam Re . Urvashi will next be seen in NBK109 alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna and Baap, directed by Ahmed Khan. She also has Welcome To The Jungle and Kasoor 2 in the works.
