Vahbiz Dorabjee found love among TV soap fans with her portrayal of ‘Panchi Dobriyal’ in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani. After a seven-year break from the industry, Vahbiz is set to make a much-anticipated comeback in the show, Deewaniyat. In the meanwhile, she has been busy shutting down rumours about her entering Bigg Boss 18 and exposing the unrealistic beauty expectations placed on TV actresses. Well, she made yet another massive confession recently, and it has to do with her love life.
Since Vahbiz’s ex-husband and actor, Vivian Dsena joined Bigg Boss 18, fans have been curious about their failed relationship and their current love life. Well, in a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Vahbiz opened up about her take on love. Not only that, the actress also revealed that insecurity and jealousy were her biggest no-nos in a relationship. She said:
“You have to be a team. You take up certain responsibilities, I take up certain responsibilities. Be supportive towards your partner, and not be insecure and jealous. Some partners are like, only they want to go ahead in life and they want you to stay behind and only I should succeed. I really want someone who is my supporter and well-wishes because having jealousy within partners is bad.”
Vahbiz further elaborated that she wanted a partner who shared her values and whole-heartedly supported her ambitions. For her, honesty and companionship should be the pillars of the relationship.
Adorably, Vahbiz shared that her parents were the ones she looked up to as relationship goals. From her parents, Vahbiz has learnt that it is most important for partners to understand each other and share mutual respect. Talking about the bond they shared even after 40 years of marriage, she said:
“I look up to my parents, who have been married for 40 years and they have been best friends; even today I see my parents; they are so happy-go-lucky. They enjoy their lives, they have a group of friends, their karaoke night and they travel together. I have always looked up to marriage that has been a partner work.”
For the unversed, Vahbiz had stepped away from the world of television for seven long years despite her popularity. In an earlier interview with The Times Of India, she revealed the motivation behind her hiatus, and it had to do with the body-shaming she was facing.

According to Vahbiz, there was a huge amount of pressure on TV actresses to look a certain way. So, when she started gaining weight and didn’t look the part anymore, the roles she was being offered changed. Vahbiz claimed that due to her appearance, she was being cast as the mother of actors the same age as her.
However, Vahbiz will finally be making a comeback with Deewaniyat. She will be acting alongside Kritika Yadav and Vijayendra Kumeria, who have been cast as leads.
