The actress and singer, who has always been candid about her joy in motherhood, surprised fans this weekend by announcing the birth of her baby with husband and former MLB player, Cole Tucker. Vanessa Hudgens took to her social media on November 29, 2025, and shared a photo of herself holding her husband, Cole Tucker's hand while resting in a hospital bed. Along with the picture, she not only announced the birth of her new baby but also expressed her admiration for fellow mothers who go through the difficult phase. Sharing her feelings, Vanessa penned:

"Well… I did it. I had another baby!!! What a wild ride labor is. Big shout-out to all the moms. It's truly incredible what our bodies can do." 

Although Vanessa and Cole have yet to reveal their newborn's name and gender, the announcement has drawn good wishes from their fans and fellow celebrities. However, the couple's representatives have not provided any additional information when Page Six attempted to contact them. Yet, speculation about the baby's arrival had already begun on November 28, 2025, when Vanessa shared a full-body picture, seemingly showing that she was no longer pregnant. 

Vanessa Hudgens opened up about the 'exhausting' nature of motherhood 

Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker became parents for the first time in July 2024 when they welcomed their son, whose name is yet to be revealed to the public. Nearly a year later, the actress revealed her second pregnancy with a maternity photoshoot with her husband, captioning it "round two." Previously, in August 2025, Vanessa spoke to E! News about being a mom, calling motherhood "literally the most exhausting thing on the entire planet." Yet it was rewarding, too. After the birth of her first child, she admitted to E! News that motherhood forced her to reevaluate the pace and priorities in life. Despite the exhaustion, Vanessa has repeatedly expressed how raising kids has grounded her. In her words:

"It's so easy to focus on things in the future… But that's not what's important. What's important is the moment that is in front of you." 

Vanessa Hudgens' love story with Cole Tucker began on an unexpected note

While fans continue to celebrate the arrival of Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker's baby, several fans recalled their heartwarming love story. Their bond on an unexpected note, as Vanessa once mentioned on The Drew Barrymore Show, was that they met in a Zoom meditation group organised by Joe Jonas during the initial days of the pandemic. After the session, the High School Musical star made the first move and slid into Cole's DMs, marking the beginning of a beautiful love story.

The couple made their relationship Instagram-official in February 2021 and made their red-carpet debut later that year in November 2021. Later in February 2023, the actress confirmed that Cole had proposed to her, and she "couldn't be happier." They tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in Tulum, Mexico, in December 2023. Vanessa once told Vogue that walking down the aisle was the "most emotional moment" of her life.
