Tamil actress, Vanitha Vijaykumar recently penned a long note mentioning that she was never legally married to her third husband, Peter Paul. It all started when Peter left for the heavenly abode, and Vanitha's fans thought the actress was mourning the loss of her ex-husband. However, she clarified that she is happily single and not mourning any loss. For the unversed, pictures from Vanitha and Peter's intimate marriage ceremony surfaced on the internet in June 2020. However, as per reports, the actress walked out of the marriage in four months when she learnt that Peter didn't divorce his first wife.
Taking to her Instagram handle on May 2, 2023, Vanitha Vijaykumar clarified that she was in a brief relationship with Peter Paul in 2020. However, they were never legally married. She requested her fans to stop spreading the news that her husband has died, as she is happily single and not mourning any loss. Vanitha's picture message can be read as:
“Ok after a lot of patience and thought whether to react or not, I have no choice but to remind all media, press and news channels. With all due respects, I was never legally married to Peter Paul. We were in a brief relationship in 2020 which ended the same year. I am not his wife and he is not my husband. Stop spreading news that my husband died. I am very much legally single and don’t have a husband and am not mourning any loss. I am currently very happy and living my life to the fullest. This is a humble kind request.”

Following Peter Paul's demise on April 29, 2023, Vanitha Vijaykumar had taken to her Twitter handle and shared cryptic posts. Penning down her thoughts, she mentioned a lesson that she had learnt from her mother. She prayed for someone's well-being after hinting towards the battle the person had gone through. Her tweets could be read as:
“My mom once taught me God helps those who help themselves. It's definitely a lesson everyone should learn. When in crossroads, people make their own choices of path. I am sure you found peace after battling the demons you were facing and the trauma you went through. As sad as I feel for your parting from this world, I know you are definitely in a better place and you finally found your peace be happy wherever you are."
Bigg Boss Tamil 3 fame, Vanitha Vijaykumar's marital life was never a bed of roses. As per reports, she had tied the knot thrice, but all of her marriages had failed. On September 10, 2000, Vanitha had tied the knot for the first time with an actor, Aakash. The couple was blessed with a son, Vijaya Sri Hari and a daughter, Jovika. However, their marriage didn't last long and broke apart in pieces after some years of the legal battle. Following this, she tried her luck in marriage for the second time with a famous businessman, Anand Jay Rajan. Vanitha and Anand married in 2007 and were blessed with a baby girl, Jaynitha. But after five years of marital bliss, the couple divorced after a series of disputes.

Finally, Vanitha had found her soulmate in her third hubby, Peter Paul, and they had tied the knot on June 27, 2020. However, since their marriage, there have been huge controversies and allegations from Peter's ex-wife, Elizabeth Helen. Soon, after some months, there were reports that Peter and Vanitha were on the verge of separation. On October 20, 2020, Vanitha had also taken to her Instagram handle and shared an extremely long and emotional note addressing all the rumours of her having a big rift with her husband, Peter. The actress also gave a befitting reply to all the people, who were accusing her of breaking a home. Well, it seemed that Vanitha and Peter had soon parted ways after this.
