The biggest con of being a celebrity is that whatever they do, makes them a target of trolls. Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal became the victims of troll for their decision to help the victims of the Longliang fire. It was on January 24, 2021, when Varun had tied the knot with Natasha, making their lifelong love official and post their wedding, he had resumed his shoots and professional commitments. Varun and Natasha are spending quality time in Arunachal Pradesh, where he is shooting for his upcoming horror flick, Bhediya.

A few days ago, Varun Dhawan posted selfies with Natasha Dalal from their boat ride in Arunachal Pradesh and clarified with his caption that they’re not on their honeymoon. Varun had captioned the pictures as "Not on a honeymoon." His Street Dancer 3D co-star, Shraddha Kapoor had commented, "Babudies" and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania director, Shashank Khaitan had written, “U guys have been on a Honeymoon for a very long time...” Varun is shooting for Bhediya in Arunachal Pradesh with actress, Kriti Sanon.
A few days ago, a massive fire broke out at Longliang Village in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tirap district and over 100 houses were reduced to ashes in the inferno. As relief assistance to the ones, who suffered due to the fire tragedy, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal offered their help and donated the amount of one lakh to the victims. A Twitter handle, Dipro Ziro, shared photos of the couple, being felicitated as they offered their support to the fire victims of Tirap District in AP. Revealing the details, Dipro Ziro tweeted, "#VarunDhawan and #NatashaDalal donated http://Rs.One lakh as relief assistance to the fire victims of #Longliang at Lazu Circle at Tirap District, Arunachal Pradesh. Varun has been camping in #Ziro since Feb, shooting for his upcoming movie #Bhediya."

The same pictures were shared by Bollywood pap, Viral Bhayani on Instagram and a lot of netizens trolled Varun Dhawan for donating 'only' one lakh, when he can afford more than that given how much he earns per film. However, a lot of netizens appreciated Varun and Natasha for donating and helping the victims of the Tirap district fire tragedy.

Last year, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Varun Dhawan had donated money to help the daily wage workers of the film industry. Amid nationwide lockdown, Varun had helped daily wage workers under the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). Varun had also contributed to PM-Cares Fund and Maharashtra Chief Minister relief fund. Informing his contribution to PM-Cares Fund and Maharashtra Chief Minister relief fund, Varun had tweeted, "I pledge to contribute 30 lakhs to the PM CARE fund. We will over come this. Desh hai toh hum hain" and "I pledge to contribute 25 lakhs to the Maharashtra CM’s relief fund @OfficeofUT @AUThackeray @CMOMaharashtra. We are with you sir."
To mark International Women’s Day 2021, Varun Dhawan celebrated the women in his life including his mother, Karuna Dhawan, his wife, Natasha Dalal, his sister-in-law, Jaanvi Desai and his niece, Niyara. Sharing the pictures with the women in his life, Varun had written, “Happy women’s day. Bharatiya naari sab pe bhaari (Indian women are a formidable force). It’s great that we all post pictures on social media and make this day special but the real job will be done when we actually make our country safe for women because each woman is someone’s wife, mother or sister.”

On the work front, Varun Dhawan is shooting with Kriti Sanon for Bhediya, which is a horror film.
