Varun Dhawan Says He Is 'Still Learning To Connect' With Daughter And Reveals Her Name On 'KBC 16'

Varun Dhawan and the love of his life, Natasha Dalal, got married in 2021 after several years of dating. After three years of marital bliss, Varun and Natasha welcomed their baby girl into their lives. The doting parents have been caring and nurturing their daughter ever since, and recently, Varun talked about his bond with the little one. He also revealed her name to the world on KBC 16.

Varun Dhawan asks Amitabh Bachchan for parenting advice

Varun Dhawan recently appeared in Kaun Banega Crorepati season 16, where he revealed that after becoming a father, his world has changed. He added that he is still trying to connect with the little one. Varun also elaborated that he and his wife managed to squeeze in a little sleep at night but were always worried. However, new gadgets have come these days, which helped their situation. In Varun's words:

“I’m still learning to connect with her; it’s just as you said when a baby comes home, everything changes. Oh, we managed to sleep, but there was always a bit of worry: is everything okay? Back then, a new gadget had come out. You’d place it near the bed, and if the baby made even the slightest noise, it would alert us. It came in handy.”

Varun then asked Amitabh Bachchan to share a parenting tip with him. To this, Amitabh Bachchan shared the 'golden rule' of parenting with him. The superstar shared that if you keep your wife happy, then everything else will fall into place. In Amitabh's words:

"Here’s one golden rule, keep your wife happy. If she’s content, everything else will fall into place, and with her happy, your daughter will be happy too. Remember: ‘wife is supreme.’”

Varun Dhawan revealed his daughter's name

In the same, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that this Diwali is very special to him, and he welcomed Goddess Lakshmi to his home in the form of his daughter. When Amitabh Bachchan probed about his daughter's name, Varun replied, that he and his family had named his daughter Lara. For the unversed, Lara means a sense of grace, protection or victory.  

Varun Dhawan's professional front 

Varun Dhawan last made a special appearance on the work front in the 2024 film, Stree 2. He will next be seen in movies like Baby John, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, and Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. At the same time, the actor will be seen in the web series, Citadel: Honey Bunny.
