On the other hand, Varun is all set to be seen in an important role in the web series, Karmma Calling alongside Raveena Tandon. Apart from his professional life, Varun's personal life too often hits the headlines. Moreover, earlier, a report about Varun being romantically involved with his Karmma Calling co-star, Namrata Sheth, made rounds in the media. The rumours got ignited when Varun posted a happy photo with Namrata. However, Varun has now revealed whether he is dating his co-star or not.
In an interview with Zoom, Varun Sood was asked about the ongoing buzz about his dating rumours with Namrata Sheth after he posted a photo with the diva. To this, Varun said that from his point of view, his fans are sweet, and they just wish for their favourite star to be happy, which is why when he posted the photo with Namrata, everyone got excited. However, he debunked all the reports about him dating Namrata, and called her to be a good friend and said:
"I think my fans are very sweet and they just want to see me happy, so they went ‘oh, wow’. Namrata and I are very good friends. I put that photo up because it was a beautiful photo. So, no we are not dating and are good friends."

In the same interview, Namrata Sheth reveals details about her first meeting with Varun Sood. The diva shared that she met Varun 4 years ago during a workshop in Pondicherry, wherein she was attending classes while Varun was not. Namrata said although she had a very different impression of Varun at first, later when they met again during auditions, she got to understand that the actor was the easiest one to get along with. Sharing how she feels it to be flattering enough that Varun's fans think her to be a nice girl, Namrata said:
"We met 4 years ago in an acting workshop in Pondicherry. We never spoke but he was bunking classes and I was doing the workshop and he wasn’t. I had a very different impression of him. Because he just looked like one of those cool kids in school who didn’t want to attend classes and I was a nerd. But when we met through auditions and readings, we instantly connected. He is just such an easy person to get along with. And it’s cute that his fans think that I am a nice girl and it’s flattering."
Earlier, a report by Pinkvilla suggested that while shooting for their upcoming series, Karmma Calling, Varun and Namrata really hit it off on the sets. For those who don't know, Namrata is also Varun's on-screen love interest in their upcoming series. Moreover, the source also mentioned that Varun and Namrata were also teased on the set as everyone noticed the brewing chemistry between them. The source also added that the rumoured lovebirds used to spend a lot of time with one another while being on the set by having meals together and chilling in their spare time.

Soon after her ex-girlfriend, Divya Agarwal announced her wedding, Varun Sood took to his Instagram handle and dropped a happy picture with Namrata Sheth. In the photo, the duo could be seen posing alongside one another while flaunting their cutesy smiles. In the photo, Varun looked handsome in a white-hued printed shirt, and Namrata looked pretty in a yellow-hued cut-out dress. Moreover, soon after Varun posted the photo, his fans remained excited as they thought the actor had moved on in his life and found love again.
