South Indian actor, Chiranjeevi's nephew, Varun Tej, and his ladylove, Lavanya Tripathi are living the best phase of their lives as they exchanged rings on June 9, 2023. Recently, some reports have claimed that Varun and Lavanya are all set to tie the knot in November 2023 in Itlay. Amid all these speculations going on, Varun Tej now opened up about the same. The handsome actor also talked about his fiancee, Lavanya.
In a recent interaction with Scribes, Varun Tej spilt the beans about his wedding speculations with Lavanya Tripathi. When asked whether he and his fiancee are going to get married in Italy, Varun shared that Italy is just an option as they haven't finalised the venue yet. Varun can be quoted as saying:
"Italy? That’s just one of the options. We haven’t finalized the venue yet."

In the same conversation, Varun Tej heaped praises on his lady love, Lavanya Tripathi, and revealed who made the first move to propose for the wedding. The actor shared that it was he who proposed to Lavanya as he thought this to be the perfect time to settle down after six years of dating. Speaking along the same lines, Varun also shared that Lavanya agreed instantly to his proposal.
In the same interview, Varun Tej talked about the kind of bonding he shares with his ladylove, Lavanya. Varun stated that he is thrilled to have met the right person. He also mentioned that Lavanya is more like a friend to him, and he is grateful as his ladylove has always been by his side through thick and thin. Varun also mentioned that he believes in the fact that one's companion should be one's best friend. Varun mentioned:
"I am thrilled to have met the right person at the right time. Lavanya is more like a friend. I believe your companion should be your best friend, and I am glad that she has been there for me at all times, trying to understand me."
Varun also shared what quality of Lavanya he likes the most. The actor gave credit to his ladylove for the beautiful bonding that they shared. Calling Lavanya mature, Varun mentioned:
"She’s always calm and composed that’s amazing to me. And that aspect of her has rubbed off on me and made me more mature and wiser. The beauty of our relationship is that it’s always been steady and balanced. Lavanya keeps it stable."
Earlier, a report by Pinkvilla stated that Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi are all set to hop onto their forever journey in November 2023 in Italy. The reports also mentioned that the wedding is going to be a low-key affair and to be attended by the duo's close friends and family members.
