Vatsal Sheth Shares His Reaction After Knowing About Ishita Dutta's Second Pregnancy, 'Vaayu Was..'

Vatsal Sheth and Drishyam actress, Ishita Dutta are on cloud nine because the couple is embracing parenthood for the second time. The pair, who are already parents to Vaayu, are all set to welcome their second child in 2025. Now, Vatsal has shared his reaction when he first learnt about his wife's pregnancy for the second time.

Vatsal Sheth reveals he was managing their son, Vayu when Ishita Dutta broke the news

Vatsal and Ishita are parents to 19-month-old Vaayu and are head over heels as they are becoming parents for the second time. During an interview with the Hindustan Times, Vatsal revealed that it was a blessing and that Ishita's pregnancy came as a delighted surprise. When Vatsal learnt about the pregnancy, he was managing his cranky son, Vaayu. Vatsal initially did not know how to react as a father; it was big and joyful news for him. In his words:

"Ishita walked in to our room and told me the news. I remember, it was one of those days when Vayu was super cranky. We did take time to let the news sink in before we decided to let the world know that the newest member of our family is due in July.”

Vatsal Sheth reveals how he and Ishita will handle the second pregnancy

Vatsal, going ahead in the interview, also shared that the arrival of the second baby would be a big surprise for his and Ishita's son, Vaayu. However, as parents, they both discussed how they would navigate through the second pregnancy, which would be different from when the actress was expecting Vaayu. Vatsal added:

"As a father, I will take care of my son and my wife, who needs special attention. Both of us have decided that once the baby arrives, I will take care of Vayu, and Ishita will be with our new angel.”

When Ishita Dutta gave a second pregnancy hint

On Valentine's Day, 2025, the actress shared two pictures where she looked lost in love as she smiled at Vatsal. Her caption spoke about how she has known Vatsal for 9 years and how they were ready to extend their family. The actress dazzled in a red-hued off-shoulder dress, while Vatsal wore a white shirt with a black jacket. Fans immediately started speculating that baby number 2 was on the way. Her post read:

"9 years of knowing you, 8 years of loving you, 1 little love we created… and soon, our hearts will grow again. Ek valentine post toh banta hai.”

Vatsal, in the same interview, also revealed that his and Ishita's parents have been on cloud nine ever since they shared the good news with them. Workwise, both of them are, as of now, focusing on their prior professional commitments. The actor shared that Ishita has been completing a film while he is busy with endorsements. Vatsal also does the daddy duties of taking Vaayu to school and being with him when Ishita is at work.
