Veteran Journalist Recalls Shah Rukh Khan's Angry Behaviour Towards Her, 'Acha Hua Tu Saamne Aayi..'

Bollywood actor, Shah Rukh Khan has been known for his grounded behaviour and humility. However, things were different when he entered the film industry. He was known for his famous Delhi-wala attitude and short-temperedness. Recently, veteran journalist, Pooja Samant, opened up about her first interaction with Shah Rukh Khan back in those days and how he reacted to her.

A veteran journalist revealed that Shah Rukh Khan threatened her back in the day 

Once, Shah Rukh Khan himself admitted that he had a huge fight with a journalist whom he threatened to cut in half. Now, veteran journalist, Pooja Samant talked about Shah Rukh's attitude in the initial years of his career towards the media. In an interaction with Zahra Jani's podcast, Pooja revealed whether the story of Shah Rukh getting mad at her was true. 

Pooja revealed that Shah Rukh is a darling human being, but he wasn't the same during his early years. He was actually short-tempered and wouldn't digest media writing anything wrong about him, and he only wanted people to write good things about him. However, the editor of her magazine wrote about Shah Rukh's aggressive way of talking and pointed out his Delhi-style attitude. She was quoted as saying: 

"Shah Rukh is very darling and very charming but lekin shuru-shuru se mein aaye the vo toh kafi short-tempered the, aur vo is baat ko digest nahi kar pate the media unke khilaf likhe unke baare mein acha hi likhna chahiye or humare magazine ke editor unki jo Delhi- wali baatcheet ka leheja hai 'tu-tarak' wala uske baare mein likhta fir kuch unki filme pitti thi uska likha hai."

The journalist further revealed that she went to Shah Rukh's Baazigar shooting. He was on a break, when she introduced herself, Shah Rukh got extremely annoyed. He straight away pounced at her and asked her to call her editor if she wanted an interview. Recalling the horrifying experience, Pooja shared:

"Fir mai gayi thi Baazigar ke set par interview karna hai hume, kaali-kaali aankhein ki shooting chal rahi thi. Mai ne pucha kaha hai Shah Rukh break chal raha tha he was on set, mai ne unke makeup room mein knock kara mujhe bataya gya tha ki isme hai. Mai ne kaha 'Hi Shah Rukh, I am so and so, mujhe apka interview lena hai.' (Shah Rukh said) 'You are from'. Mai ne bataya arey he got annoyed, unko gussa tha, yeh jo lady aayi hui hai is magazine se aayi or yeh mere baare mein lagatar kharab chaapti hai. Toh mai isko kyo entertain karun. (Shah Rukh said) 'Acha hua tu saamne aayi, kaise himmat hoti hai tum logo ki mere khilaf chapne ki agar tereko interview chahiye hai toh aaj ke aaj tere editor ko mere saamne la.'"

Pooja revealed that she called her editor from the nearby PCO and asked him to come as Shah Rukh wanted to meet. She further revealed that when she took her editor to meet Shah Rukh, the actor jumped on him and showed his anger. However, her editor calmly handled the situation, and things got sorted out. 

Pooja added that over the years, her relationship with Shah Rukh has beautifully evolved, and years later, when she went to Red Chillies' office, Shah Rukh, who was sitting in a room, saw her and came down. He hugged her and asked about her well-being. It was a lovely meeting, as per Pooja. 

Well, Shah Rukh has evolved as the most beautiful human being over the years while attaining huge success!
