Vicky Kaushal is one of the most promising stars in Bollywood. His versatile acting skills, ability to portray complex characters, and honest attitude have made him the center of attraction. The actor has some crucial high-budget films lined up for the future, and fans can't wait to see him take over the screen. However, amid this hard work, Vicky is also married to leading Bollywood actress, Katrina Kaif, and they are one of the most-loved couples in Bollywood. In a recent interview, Vicky revealed whether he thinks he is an 'ideal' husband, son, or brother in his real life or not.
Vicky Kaushal has always been transparent about his personal life and family bonds with his wife, Katrina, brother, Sunny Kaushal, and his parents. Consequently, fans often consider him 'ideal' in those roles. However, in a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the actor clarified that there is no concept of being an ideal person or an ideal husband in real life. Rather, a person just keeps learning from their mistakes and improves. In his words:
"As there is no such concept of being an ideal man, there is no such concept of being an ideal husband or an ideal son or an ideal brother. We keep evolving, we keep learning, we keep building our relationships. And that's what we all are doing."
In the same conversation, Vicky Kaushal opened up about his family's role in his life, and he is what he is due to them. He admitted that his family's upbringing, love, and support have been the reason he has been able to do some big films and get success. The actor noted that he wouldn't be able to work without their support because they are a constant source of peace and encouragement in his life. Vicky was quoted as saying:
"For me, my family, my home is primary. Everything comes after that—be it films or anything else. So, that has always been a constant. I derive my inspiration, my strength, and everything from there. So woh mere liye bahut matter karta hai.”
Earlier in an interview with the same portal, Vicky Kaushal opened up about how his life has changed after marrying Katrina Kaif. He explained that he feels fortunate to have found a companion like her, particularly after he meets her at home after a busy work day. The actor admitted that he can't verbalise his feelings, but there is extreme peace in being around her, and she always keeps him grounded. Vicky mentioned that being married to Katrina and exploring with her has been 'fun.' Revealing a key change the actress brought to life, Vicky said:
"I was not much of a traveller but after she came in my life, I am traveling more. I was like ye maine life mein kia hi nahi tha.”
On the work front, Vicky Kaushal was last seen in Bad Newz, co-starring Triptii Dimri and Amy Virk. He is currently busy promoting his upcoming period-drama film, Chhaava, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna. It is set to release on February 14, 2025.
