In an interview with Radio City India, Vicky Kaushal opened up about the time when he told his family about his relationship with his now-wife, Katrina Kaif. When the host asked the actor who was the first person at home to know that he was dating Katrina, he shared that it was his mother and father. Then the host further asked if his parents believed him, after a deep thought, Vicky said:
“Vaise toh kar hi lia tha.”

Further in the conversation, the host asked if Vicky's parents got to know about his and Katrina's brewing romance through a tabloid or the popular paparazzo, Viral Bhayani's IG handle. To this, Vicky laughed and said that the situation didn't get that worse. However, when Vicky was probed if he told both his parents together, the actor said yes. Vicky was quoted as saying:
“Bhai aise toh din nahi aaye ki Viral se pata lage.”
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have been married for almost two years now, and everyone is waiting for them to announce the 'good news'. In the same interview, the host asked the actor if his family members have been pressurising them about their plans to have a baby. To this, Vicky said:
