While the handsome actor graced the trailer launch event of his upcoming film, Bad Newz, alongside his co-stars, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk, he was asked if he had ever been proposed to by two girls at the same time. Vicky blushed at first and then went on to reveal in front of the press that he never had such luck. In his words:
“Dekho itna accha naseeb hai mera, 2 ne nahi, lekin ek hi ne bola hai aur fir...”

Vicky married the acclaimed Bollywood actress, Katrina Kaif on December 9, 2021, in Rajasthan in the presence of their near and dear ones. Recently, reports have surfaced in the media claiming that the couple will soon welcome their first child. During the same trailer launch event, Vicky was questioned by the media about their “good news.” Answering the question, Vicky said:
“Ap khud hi itna sharma-sharma ke puch rahe hai. Jab aayegi toh sabse pehle apko bataunga I promise.”

Vicky and Katrina kept their relationship away from the media glares for the longest. No one had any clue about their blossoming love till the time they officially announced their marriage. During his appearance on Karan Johar’s controversial show, Koffee With Karan season 8, Vicky recalled the moment when he had proposed to Katrina. Sharing details about the same, the actor revealed:
“It was very last minute. I had been warned by everybody that if you don’t propose, it’s something you’ll have to be prepared for for the rest of your life that you got to hear about it. I did that one day before the wedding It was dinner just before any of the friends and families could come.”
