Victoria Beckham Reminisces Fond Memories With Eldest Son, Brooklyn, After He Cuts Ties With Family

The Beckham family fiasco is currently all over the internet. For the unversed, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham’s eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, dropped an explosive six-page statement on January 19, 2026, on his Instagram handle. He levelled multiple accusations against his parents through the statement. Amid the family fiasco, Victoria reacted to a post shared by photographer, Platon Antoniou, who recounted a sweet moment between the Beckhams, including David, Victoria and their three sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

Recently, photographer, Platon Antoniou took to his Instagram handle and shared two portraits of former soccer star, David. Along with the portraits, the photographer shared a note recounting a sweet memory involving the Beckham family. In the note, he mentioned that it was 2006 when he travelled to Madrid to photograph former soccer star, David. During the shoot, David’s family came to visit. Victoria arrived with Brooklyn, who was seven years old back then. The next moment, Brooklyn ran onto the set and hugged his father’s right leg. Romeo, Victoria and little Cruz joined the scene, and it turned into a private heartfelt group hug of the Beckham family. An excerpt from his note can be read as:

"In 2006, I travelled to Madrid to photograph David Beckham. That day his family came to visit. Victoria arrived with Brooklyn, who was seven years old, Romeo, who was four and Cruz, who was just a baby. Brooklyn and Romeo charged into the studio wearing football kits, kicking balls, doing headers and other tricks. At one point, Brooklyn ran on set with his football under his arm and hugged his dad’s right leg. Then, Romeo joined his older brother. Then Victoria also appeared, holding baby Cruz. The whole family turned away from us for a private, heartfelt group hug."

Further in the note, Platon mentioned that the Beckham family embrace happened on a 'giant photography set' in front of 60 people. It was a rare moment that felt so real. Platon mentioned in the note that he never felt comfortable stealing a moment and thus refrained from capturing the sweet and private moment of the Beckhams. Reacting to the post, Victoria wrote:

"Brings back great memories!"

On January 19, 2026, Brooklyn took to his Instagram Stories and dropped a six-page bomshell statement. In the statement, he exposed his family secrets involving his parents, Victoria and David. He mentioned in the statement that he doesn’t want to reconcile with his family, who manipulated him for years. He revealed that his parents also tried to ruin his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz.

Brooklyn mentioned that his mom, Victoria, cancelled making his wife, Nicola’s wedding dress at the last moment. Although Nicola was excited to wear a designer dress made by her mother-in-law, she had to find another option. Brooklyn accused his mother of hijacking his first romantic dance with Nicola at the wedding ceremony. He wrote:

"My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped. My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress. My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife. In front of our 500 wedding guests, Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone."
